Freedom Friday | Are You Carrying More Than You Were Meant to Bear?

My Dear Friend,

Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by stress and anxiety? Have the pressures of life become so heavy that they seem to be closing in on you? Perhaps you’ve prayed and prayed, yet the answer hasn’t come as quickly as you had hoped, and you’ve begun to wonder if heaven has heard your cry.

If that’s where you are today, I have wonderful news for you. God has not forgotten you. He sees every tear, He knows every burden, and He has prepared something precious for every believer—a divine place of rest.

Hebrews 4:9–12 reminds us that “there remains therefore a rest for the people of God.” This is not a rest that comes because every problem has disappeared. It is the supernatural peace that comes from knowing your heavenly Father is already working on your behalf. It is the quiet confidence that says, “Lord, I trust You, even before I see the answer.”

Faith is not frantic. Faith rests. Faith believes that God is faithful, even in the waiting.

The writer of Hebrews goes on to remind us that “the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.” God’s Word has the power to cut through fear, unbelief, confusion, and discouragement. It speaks peace to the troubled heart, hope to the weary soul, healing to the sick body, and assurance to every believer who chooses to trust Him.

Our precious Lord Jesus never intended for you to carry life’s burdens alone. He lovingly invites us, “Come unto Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). What a beautiful promise! We are not called to carry tomorrow’s worries or yesterday’s disappointments. We are called to trust Him today, knowing that He is already making a way where there seems to be no way.

Saturday (tomorrow), I would love for you to join me at the Southwest Believers Convention at the Fort Worth Convention Center with my dear brother in Christ, Kenneth Copeland, and John Copeland. The service begins at 9:30 a.m., and I will be ministering a special healing service beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Already, more than 12,000 people have registered, and many more are expected. We are believing for a capacity crowd as mighty men and women of God gather together in faith, worship, and expectation. I believe this will be one of those rare, holy moments when the presence and power of the Holy Spirit will touch lives in extraordinary ways.
