My Beloved Friend,

There is a beautiful freedom that comes into our lives when we understand God’s heart concerning giving.

In the special teaching I have included for you today, I share with you the wonderful benefits and blessings of giving and the powerful truths found in 2 Corinthians 9. The apostle Paul tells us, “He which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully” (verse 6), and then reminds us that “God loveth a cheerful giver” (verse 7).

I want you to take time today to watch this teaching prayerfully. Click on the link below and allow the Holy Spirit to speak personally to your heart about the joy, freedom, and blessing that come when we place what God has given us back into His hands.

Giving is one of the most beautiful expressions of our love and worship for our precious Master Jesus. We do not give because we are pressured or compelled. We give because He first gave to us!

Paul concludes this magnificent chapter with these words:

“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift” (2 Corinthians 9:15).

That unspeakable gift is Jesus!

Before we ever gave anything to God, God gave everything for us. He gave His only begotten Son. Jesus gave His life upon the cross, and through Him we have received salvation, forgiveness, healing, peace, eternal life, and the precious presence of the Holy Spirit.

And there is another wonderful promise in this chapter. Paul declares that God is able to make “all grace abound toward you” (verse 8). He is the One who gives “seed to the sower” and multiplies the seed that is sown (verse 10).

God blesses us so that we can become a blessing. He increases our capacity to give, to reach farther, to touch more lives, and to help carry the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ to a hurting world.
