In the conclusion of this study of Romans, Pastor Benny Hinn speaks of the apostle Paul and how he closes this epistle with a powerful, touching acknowledgment of our blessed Lord Jesus and His grace. The apostle adds a moving benediction: “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you” (verses 20 and 24). God’s grace was at work in a mighty way among believers during those historic days. Paul certainly understood grace. With that authority and experience, he blessed readers of the letter with this wonderful promise.

Fresh Manna gives the opportunity to sit down together and share powerful truths that the Holy Spirit reveals in the Scriptures: “Whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God . . . Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God . . . Yea, so have I strive to preach the gospel” (verses 17, 19-20). What a word for today! The task of taking the message of salvation to the known world was daunting, yet Paul grasped the significance of his heavenly assignment, and his life was given completely to that calling. What a challenge for us today!

As the study continues of the New Testament letter to the Romans, Pastor Benny Hinn moves into chapter 14, where Paul tells us, “It is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” (verses 11-12). Believers, both in the early church and continuing to this day, have a great opportunity and responsibility. May God empower you to do all He has called you to do!

When Pastor Benny Hinn has been asked why this personal study series is named Fresh Manna, he quotes Exodus 16, which is the first time we hear of manna: “The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, ‘I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, “At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God” ’ ” (verses 11-13). That is the point of this study as we continue Romans 13 in which Pastor Benny explains the duties of living as “children of the day.”

In the study of chapter 12 of Paul’s letter to the Romans, Pastor Benny Hinn points to the wonderful promises found throughout this chapter, beginning with the first two verses: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” The duties of the believer are explained carefully.

Pastor Benny Hinn continues in his study of Paul’s letter to the Romans, specifically chapter 11. How wonderful it is to look closely at the powerful lessons found in this passage, knowing “the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” (verse 33). Believers are warned not to boast because of their privileges, and the restoration of Israel is predicted!

“I love searching through the Bible,” Pastor Benny Hinn says, “and this Fresh Manna study moves into Romans 10, giving us an exciting opportunity to sit down together and share truths that the Holy Spirit reveals.” The apostle Paul considered his calling as a minister of the Gospel to be a great honor, and this is certainly reflected in his letters to believers in Rome. God’s divine plan of salvation is revealed so clearly. What a powerful message to us today as we continue to seek to reach the world in His mighty name!

Let us say with the apostle Paul, “If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:31-32). Believing this truth should embolden us to get past the struggles that we face, leading us into powerful victories and deeper spiritual growth.

Romans 8 begins with this powerful statement: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” This is an exciting foundation for who we are and what we do as believers. How thankful we should be that the work of our Savior extends to all who believe: “As by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous” (5:19). Our sins are covered because of the righteousness of God by faith in Jesus Christ. What a wonderful promise we have!

Paul moves from justification by faith into the explanation and application of that truth. The benefits and privileges that flow from justification by faith should give us ample reason not only to make sure we are justified by faith but also to do everything we can to share this powerful Gospel message with those who haven’t heard or do not yet understand.

God reveals throughout this wonderful passage the powerful lesson of Abraham’s faith: “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness” (verses 20-22).

What a wonderful promise! We are given forgiveness, not because of our parents or our social standing, but because of the righteousness of God by faith in Jesus Christ. We cannot accomplish salvation through our goodness. It is of God; it is His righteousness; it is by believing in Jesus Christ. It is the righteousness of God “unto all” (3:22). To God be all the glory!

The book of Romans was written during one of history’s most pivotal times. In spite of the opposition and misunderstanding he faced, the apostle Paul penned the words that continue to bring people to the Savior: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:23-24).

The apostle Paul, writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, gave an amazing revelation that we often take for granted: “Glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God” (Romans 2:10-11). Paul shows an earnest concern that all believers should understand that the partition was taken down! All stand upon the same level before God. None can attain salvation by heritage, works, or social position. All have the same need for the Savior, who is willing to save “whosoever will.”

I never cease to be amazed how every word seems written to us today, just as much as to the church in Galatia. Oh, that we can say with the Apostle Paul, “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Galatians 6:14). Imagine what went into those words—the years of struggles, seeming defeats, stunning victories, and deep spiritual growth.

This teaching on Galatians, Chapter 5, covers specific lessons in how to live every day as believers in Christ. God expects maturity and depth. Our flesh craves just the opposite. The only way to grow in faith is to apply His Word and seek His daily anointing: “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25).

I can’t imagine a more exciting time to serve the Savior, and Galatians is one of the most appropriate books of the Bible to read during these amazing, historic days. This month I’m continuing with the study of the letter written by the apostle Paul, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, to people who were apparently falling back into snares, which is why readers were told: “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage” (Galatians 5:1).

The apostle Paul writes about the glorious prize ahead of us—an incorruptible crown. He compares believers to the runners and combatants who were well known and accepted by all Corinthians: "Know you not that those who run in a race run all, but one obtaineth the prize?” (verse 24). May each of us run the race of life with supernatural patience and strength. May we keep our goal—eternity in heaven—clearly in front of us.
