Reports to: Interactive Marketing Manager

The Social Media/E-Community Specialist is primarily responsible for using their expertise in the social media arena to be the voice within every day conversations for our organization. The position requires experience in marketing and social media and in particular with social media tools and platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc. Experience in implementing social media tools for businesses and tracking their success and analyzing results is essential. This role requires a highly motivated, self-starter with a strategic vision of the social media landscape and a game plan to infuse social media best practices across all aspects of the organization. This job entails leveraging this unique knowledge and expertise to develop sound social strategies, identify trends, and help create and implement best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop ROI models around Social Media engagement and prioritize projects based upon a solid business case as well as determine guidelines for evaluating benefits and risks for certain Social Media engagements.
  • Translate business strategy into applicable interactive experiences that drive business results and meet business and user goals.
  • Be the primary social media point of contact for assigned key initiatives.
  • Serve as primary content developer for organization social media.
  • Work with Partner Services Team to ensure organizational replies to subscribers/followers are within limits.
  • Oversee message boards and forums to ensure timely, helpful responses to our Partners.
  • Proactively seek and implement innovative methods for more efficient Partner communication channels.
  • Help spread the Gospel through social media.

Experience – Minimum Knowledge Required:

  • You must be a Born Again Christian with a high degree of commitment to spreading the Gospel of Jesus.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience in interactive marketing.
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing for social networking functions.
  • A passion for social media marketing and other inbound marketing strategies.
  • Understands and can utilize emerging platforms and social media measurement tools.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experience with SEO.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple takes and priorities within specified time frames.

Reports to: Senior Web Developer

The employee will be a member of the development team working to design, implement and support Internet related applications including ministry websites, backend processes, and databases. Position includes maintaining existing applications, proactively researching and adding new features and enhancements plus new application development and implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop applications and/or components to meet project requirements.
  • Identify and correct problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback.
  • Perform or direct website code updates. Recommend and/or implement performance improvements.
  • Communicate directly with team members to gather requirements, collect feedback, and provide support.
  • Design and implement website security and backup measures with team.
  • Modify existing applications to enhance features, correct errors, adapt to new hardware and improve performance.
  • Analyze, design and prototype applications to handle specific tasks such as email campaigns, tracking analysis and data migration.
  • Create and automate reports and correspondence concerning project specifications, activities and status.
  • Provide end user support for software and web content delivery and implementation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience – Minimum Knowledge Required:

  • Code and implement WordPress sites from Photoshop layout through HTML/CSS to a custom theme, functions, and plugins.
  • Design and implement new features, enhancements, and content of existing websites.
  • Troubleshoot PHP, MySQL, and CSS issues related to WordPress websites.
  • Assisting in the development of applications and/or components to meet project requirements.
  • Identify and correct problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback.

Reports to: Interactive Marketing Manager

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of email marketing programs in support of Benny Hinn Ministries marketing, fundraising and communication plan objectives. This position will build and execute highly targeted emails, using responsive HTML templates. The Email Marketing Specialist maintains a current understanding of email marketing best practices and applies them to the execution of our email campaigns and growth of each segment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to: building and coding email campaigns, database selection, testing, configuration and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns through ESP platform.
  • Utilize email testing application to QA responsive emails across the most popular clients, apps and devices
  • Set up A/B test and learn campaigns (subject line, creative, layout, copy, etc.) to identify marketing opportunities
  • Create and maintain automated, personalized campaigns to drive loyalty and engagement
  • Track key engagement metrics (deliverability, opens, clicks, unsubscribes)
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure that all creative assets meet objectives and deadline
  • Work in partnership with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize D2C email marketing opportunities.
  • Manage eNewsletter content development

Experience – Minimum Knowledge Required:

  • Experience with HTML
  • WordPress experience is a must.
  • Familiarity with MailChimp and WooCommerce is highly desired.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex technical concepts in non-technical terms.
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of database marketing concepts and CRM technology
  • Ability to work independently, while also functioning as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Finds, develops, prepares, and/or reviews articles and content to be used on the Benny Hinn Ministries family of websites and digital communication such a social media and e-mail newsletters. Develops, implements, and maintains editorial policies and standards. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the communications industry. Relies on experience, judgment and research skills to plan and accomplish goals. Utilizes a high degree of creativity and latitude to perform functions of position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gathers content specifically related to and appropriate for publication on BHM websites.
  • Writes, prepares, and/or reviews articles to be used for publication on BHM websites.
  • Conducts research and makes notes to retain ideas, develop factual information and obtain authentic detail.
  • Reviews articles posted on web and makes recommendations, revisions or changes in scope, format and content.
  • Organizes material and completes assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
  • Reads copy to assess appropriate place for publication on BHM websites.
  • May write or rewrite headlines, captions, columns, and stories according to publication requirements on BHM websites.
  • Communicates with Interactive Marketing Manager to make recommendations for articles and artwork/photograph publication for publication.
  • Maintains editorial schedule outlining web article postings on bi-weekly, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Verifies facts, secures relevant permission and seeks out appropriate sources for publication.
  • Stays abreast on current BHM events to incorporate appropriate updates and/or article tie-ins for publication.
  • Very familiar with issues that are relevant to Christian’s, globally.
  • May initiate or reply to correspondence regarding material published or being considered for publication on BHM websites.
  • Be familiar with article marketing to ensure BHM website is distributed across the web and on affiliate websites.
  • Familiar with SEO, Gutenberg content best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience – Minimum Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years working experience in communications field or publishing industry.
  • Aptitude towards in depth research and reading.
  • Excellent judgment in article selection for publication on BHM websites.
  • Understands vision and direction of BHM. Communicates that vision.
  • Ability to feel the pulse of current events in the Christian world at large and in Benny Hinn Ministries. Couples this with educated intuition to determine which publication key information can best be communicated to BHM web readers.
  • Ability to interface with heads of department and executive level co-workers at BHM and related out of house media company (or any other related company) while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel working experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Born again with a high level of commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hours of Operation: Typically 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Hours will depend upon the position and shift for which you are applying. Most positions are eligible to work a 10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday, with Fridays off.
