The Holy Spirit has drawn my heart to Psalm 21, and I feel such a strong encouragement for you.
“The king shall joy in Thy strength, O Lord; and in Thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!”
Beloved, notice this—David did not rejoice in his army. He did not rejoice in his strategy. He rejoiced in God’s strength. Your joy today is not rooted in what you can do, but in what God has already promised to do for you.
Psalm 21 declares, “Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips.” What a promise! When your heart is aligned with the Lord, when your trust is in Him, heaven responds. God is not indifferent to your prayers. He is attentive. He is faithful. He is working even now behind the scenes.
The psalm continues, “For Thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: Thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.” That word “preventest” means God goes before you with blessings. Before the battle appears, He has already made provision. Before the challenge surfaces, He has already prepared strength.
And here is the anchor for your soul: “For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved.”
You shall not be moved.
Not by pressure.
Not by lack.
Not by opposition.
Not by uncertainty.
Through His mercy—through His unfailing love—you stand secure.
