The book of Romans was written during one of history’s most pivotal times. Let us say with the apostle Paul, “If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:31-32). In the conclusion of this study of Romans, Pastor Benny Hinn speaks of the apostle Paul and how he closes this epistle with a powerful, touching acknowledgment of our blessed Lord Jesus and His grace. The apostle adds a moving benediction: “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you” (verses 20 and 24). God’s grace was at work in a mighty way among believers during those historic days. The apostle Paul, writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, gave an amazing revelation that we often take for granted: “Glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God” (Romans 2:10-11). Paul shows an earnest concern that all believers should understand that the partition was taken down! All stand upon the same level before God. None can attain salvation by heritage, works, or social position. All have the same need for the Savior, who is willing to save “whosoever will.”
