In the study of chapter 12 of Paul’s letter to the Romans, Pastor Benny Hinn points to the wonderful promises found throughout this chapter, beginning with the first two verses: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” The duties of the believer are explained carefully. -
When Pastor Benny Hinn has been asked why this personal study series is named Fresh Manna, he quotes Exodus 16, which is the first time we hear of manna: “The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, ‘I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, “At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God” ’ ” (verses 11-13). That is the point of this study as we continue Romans 13 in which Pastor Benny explains the duties of living as “children of the day.”

As the study continues of the New Testament letter to the Romans, Pastor Benny Hinn moves into chapter 14, where Paul tells us, “It is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” (verses 11-12). Believers, both in the early church and continuing to this day, have a great opportunity and responsibility. Fresh Manna gives the opportunity to sit down together and share powerful truths that the Holy Spirit reveals in the Scriptures: “Whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God . . . Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God . . . Yea, so have I strive to preach the gospel” (verses 17, 19-20). What a word for today! The task of taking the message of salvation to the known world was daunting, yet Paul grasped the significance of his heavenly assignment, and his life was given completely to that calling. What a challenge for us today!

In the conclusion of this study of Romans, Pastor Benny Hinn speaks of the apostle Paul and how he closes this epistle with a powerful, touching acknowledgment of our blessed Lord Jesus and His grace. The apostle adds a moving benediction: “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you” (verses 20 and 24). God’s grace was at work in a mighty way among believers during those historic days. Paul certainly understood grace. With that authority and experience, he blessed readers of the letter with this wonderful promise.
