Blessing Prayer for Week of May 5-11

“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” Matthew 8:8

“Blessed Lord,

Thank You for promising healing and health to me. Although I have battled illness I know that faith does not deny fact; it changes it. Grant me a faith that is pleasing to You, for I know that faith is vital to my miracle. I will continually fill my life with Your Word. Romans 10:17 declares that “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. You have taken my infirmities (Matthew 8:17). Thank You Lord for the healing I receive in You.

You are the same yesterday, today and forever. I praise You Lord Jesus.”

We serve a Savior who offered Himself not only as the sacrifice for our sins, but who also suffered the shame of Calvary’s cross to bring healing those who believe in Him. We are told: “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

Matthew 18:19 declares:

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
