The coming anointing begins with our eyes fixed on Jesus. When our minds are stayed on Him and our hearts trust Him, He gives us a peace that cannot be shaken by circumstances. Isaiah 26:3 declares, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” The anointing is not simply about what God wants to do through us; it is first about what He wants to do in us. As we remain established in Christ, walk in the Holy Spirit, and surrender ourselves completely to Him, God prepares us for greater dimensions of His presence and power.
The olive teaches us something powerful about this process. Before the oil can flow, the olive must go through beating, shaking, and crushing. In the same way, God often uses the trials and processes of life to bring us to a place of deeper dependence upon Him. The cross deals with the flesh, His Word shakes everything that can be shaken, and brokenness teaches us to depend completely upon God. Do not despise the process. What feels like pressure today may be preparing you to carry the anointing God desires to place upon your life.
And when the oil flows, it brings something with it: healing, revelation, supply, deliverance, faith, and blessing. God does not bring us through the process simply to leave us there. He prepares us so that His power can flow through our lives to touch others. My prayer for you is that you will keep your eyes on Jesus, trust Him through every season, and allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in you. May the coming anointing bring a fresh revelation of God’s Word, renewed faith, healing, and blessing—and may your life become a vessel through which His glory reaches others.
