A New Season of Miracle Crusades Begins in Phoenix

“We are in a glorious new season!” Pastor Benny Hinn announced even before he stepped in front of the packed Phoenix Convention Center on March 25–26. “The Lord has spoken to me clearly that we should restart the Miracle Crusades in America, and to begin here in Arizona, where our crusades began back in 1990. I’m so excited I cannot contain myself! And I know the presence and the glory of the Lord will be mighty!”

The outpouring he spoke of was unmistakable! About 18,000 people poured in to the convention center during the three services. They came from throughout the Southwest and beyond to witness God’s miracle-working power unleashed. A large group of prayer warriors made a covenant to meet in a nearby prayer room during each service to intercede in prayer for the crusade and for God’s power to be revealed. Amid the fresh, new worship and intercession was a mighty anointing for miracles.

Thursday Evening Crusade Highlights
Because the Lord had spoken to Pastor Benny to bring a fresh sound to crusade music, a fresh and anointing sound from the crusade choir, an expanded orchestra directed by Greg Wiggins, the amazing soloist Micah Stampley, and the youthful Benny Hinn Voices inspired and moved the crowd.

“It was the greatest sound this side of heaven!” expressed numerous people throughout the packed crowd.”

Pastor Benny preached directly to the people who came to the crusade needing a touch from God: “You may be here for yourself, you may be here for your loved one. Regardless, the Bible says the cause of sickness is spiritual. Therefore, the cure lies in the spiritual realm. The answer comes from the spiritual realm, because all sickness goes back to the fall of man. The substance of Jesus is health. Healing comes when we come into the presence of Jesus. When Jesus becomes real to us, we will be healed! When the presence of Jesus becomes more real to us than our sickness, we will be healed! Miracles happen in the presence of the Lord. Sickness goes when Jesus comes!”

Pastor Benny pointed to seven specific reasons why the Lord heals:

1. Because of His compassion. Healing is not dependent on how good we are, for Jesus Christ is full of compassion.
2. Healing is the children’s bread (Matthew 7:27). It is our legal right to be healed.
3. Jesus heals because of the atonement (Matthew 8:16). He does it to fulfill what Isaiah said—because of the work of the cross.
4. He heals to reveal the glory of God (Matthew 15:30).
5. Jesus heals to confirm His promises (John 10:37).
6. It is His nature to heal (John 5). Jesus said, “Wilt thou be made whole?”
7. He heals to destroy the work of satan (1 John 3:8).

Friday Morning Highlights
Anointed teaching continued as Pastor Benny taught on Isaiah 48:16, saying, “God looked at Israel and said, `Come, I want you to hear something.’ God uses the Holy Spirit in all His workings with us. We cannot hear God for ourselves. Nobody has ever heard the voice of God the Father. We hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the go-between. We have access by the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not an influence or a power. He is a person.”

Using 1 Corinthians 2:9-16, Pastor Benny explained that we have the mind of Christ: “The angels cannot know God. Everything the angels know about God they know by watching you. They are not able to receive revelation. The only ones in the whole universe who know God is mankind. The Holy Spirit is the great revealer.”

Moving through the Bible, beginning with Genesis 3:15, Pastor Benny focused on the promise of redemption that God has revealed to mankind through seven covenants—with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, the new covenant, and the eternal covenant.

“Jesus is the eternal Word,” taught Pastor Benny. “Jesus did not defeat satan through the power of the Holy Ghost. He defeated him through His perfection.”

Friday Night Highlights
By Friday evening, the convention center’s management allowed the ministry to add several hundred seats on the sides, maximizing capacity and making the crowd the largest ever to use that auditorium.

As with each of the evening services, Pastor Benny offered a powerful salvation message then invited all who would receive Jesus Christ as their Savior to come forward.

Responders began to run to the front of the auditorium. The front area was jammed and the aisles were crowded with people of all ages who wanted to become a Christian.

After the group prayer, Pastor Benny ministered to several people personally, reminding each that the past was under the blood and therefore forgotten because of Jesus’ forgiveness.

Miracle Highlights
After a stirring song by the choir each evening, Pastor Benny moved into his faith-filled message on healing, offering scriptural examples of instances where Jesus healed all.

As his message came to a close, a strong anointing for miracles descended and people all over the auditorium began to feel God’s healing touch. Miracles that happened during the services included these:

• On Thursday evening, a 21-year-old named Elvis came to the platform carrying a white walking stick for the blind. Elvis had lost the sight in one eye at the age of nine when his retina was detached due to a severe impact to his head. He later lost the sight in his other eye. During the service, the healing power of the Holy Spirit touched both of his blinded eyes and the cloudiness disappeared. Suddenly able to see, he carried his raised blind stick in front of him as he walked toward Pastor Benny. Then, during the Friday evening service, Pastor Benny inquired about that young man again. Elvis came to the platform, this time without his stick, accompanied by a friend who confirmed that he had been totally blind before. His friend wept as he watched Elvis follow Pastor Benny around the platform. “Touch my nose,” Pastor Benny said to Elvis. Elvis followed Pastor Benny around the platform, and moments later he reached out and touched Pastor Benny’s nose as he smiled a big smile of gratitude!
  
  
• Three women who came separately, but were seated close to one another, were all healed of lung infections. One lady was hospitalized two days earlier and could barely breathe. During the service, as the Holy Spirit touched her, she raised her hands and her lungs cleared. She felt a release as she was suddenly able to breathe without difficulty.
  
  
• A lady who had worn an arm brace and suffered with a shaking hand felt God’s healing touch. All the pain left her arm, the shaking stopped, and she removed the brace.
  
  
• Edward, a nine-year-old boy accompanied by his mother, was born with kidney failure. His right kidney had been removed at six months of age. Bladder problems prompted the need for Edward to be catheterized because he had no use of his remaining kidney. As the story began to unfold, Pastor Benny learned that Edward’s mother was celebrating her birthday on Friday, and she had asked the Lord to heal her son as a birthday gift to her. She had come to the service in faith, trusting God for a miracle. Early in the service, the healing power of the Holy Spirit touched Edward, and he said he had to go to the bathroom—something he had never done in his life. Throughout the service, Edward continued to visit the restroom and was able to urinate normally. By the time he arrived on the platform, he had made six trips to the restroom, urinating normally for the first time since birth! As Pastor Benny hugged Edward, he said, “Momma, come feel Edward’s face. He’s very hot.” His mother wept tears of joy and gratitude as she brushed her hand against her son’s face, and then hugged him to rejoice at what God had done for him!
  
  
• A lady suffering from three diseases—myocarditis, fibromyalgia, and reflux—came to the platform to testify of God’s healing touch. As she spoke with Pastor Benny, she said she felt pain again in her chest related to one of the conditions. As Pastor prayed the prayer of faith, she suddenly opened her eyes and said, “It’s gone now. I don’t feel any pain any more!”
  
  
• Two sisters came to the service together. Each one had been diagnosed with a lump in her breast, but neither had shared the diagnosis with the other. During the service the lumps disappeared, and the sisters learned for the first time of the condition of the other. They both rejoiced together on the platform at God’s faithfulness to them and His healing touch. The lumps were gone!
  
  
• Two ladies came to the platform together to testify of God’s healing touch. One had suffered with diabetes and the other had been deaf in one ear. In addition to both being healed during the service, both also experienced the greatest miracle of all as they surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ during the service.
  
  
• A lady and her husband came to the platform to share the details of a dynamic miracle that had occurred in the lady’s life. Since being molested at the age of eight, she’d experienced sleeping problems due to fear. She’d also suffered with fibromyalgia for 50 years and couldn’t stand. All her pain and related symptoms suddenly disappeared. The spirit of fear left her, and she rejoiced as she shouted, “I’ll sleep tonight with no pills and no machines. I’m healed!”
  
  
• A lady who had been injured in a fall had become increasingly dependent upon a motorized scooter to get around. During the service she felt God’s healing touch and she stood and began to walk. All the pain was gone!
  
  
• Two ladies with crooked spines and dependent on morphine were healed and freed from pain.
  
  
• Two ladies came forward to testify of being healed from severe arthritis. Both had no pain and could move about freely.
  
  
• A man who had been deaf in one ear suddenly could hear, no longer needing his hearing aid.
  
  
• Numerous healings from skin diseases were reported.
  
  
• Two boys, ages 8 and 16, were healed of asthma.
  
  
• A woman who had used a cane to walk was healed and threw her cane away. Her husband said that she had walked like an old lady with her cane. As they left the platform, Pastor Benny reminded the husband not to refer to his wife as an old lady anymore. The crowd roared!
  
  
• Many healings from lung cancer were reported.
  
  
• A mother and her grown daughter came to the platform to testify of God’s healing touch. The mother, just completing a chemo treatment earlier in the day, had come directly from the hospital to the miracle service. The woman had suffered for four years with a tumor in her abdomen and, increasingly weak and unable to walk, had been cared for by her daughter. As God’s healing power moved through the auditorium, the woman felt the healing touch of the Holy Spirit. The mother stood and then walked to the front of the auditorium to testify of God’s healing touch on her body. Pastor Benny directed the daughter to push on her mother’s stomach where the tumor had been. “No pain, it’s gone!” the mother declared.
  
  
• Numerous blind eyes were healed and sight was restored.
  
  
•  Hearing was restored to many deaf ears.
  
  
• A young man named Lancelot had been given six months to live by his doctors. His wife brought him to Phoenix for a miracle, trusting God to heal him from colon cancer. The couple came to the platform to testify of God’s healing touch. Lancelot said he felt hot all over in his abdomen. As Pastor Benny prayed for him repeatedly, the crowd agreeing in prayer, Lancelot began to feel strength pour into his body as the pain left!
  
  
• A lady came to the platform to testify that many tumors had disappeared from her body.

There were so miracles and testimonies of healing that all who received were unable to come to the platform because of time.

Pastor Benny’s Challenge
Issuing his challenge, Pastor Benny says:

I believe the Lord has spoken to me in a powerful way in my own heart, saying that America and the world need a fresh move of God’s precious Holy Spirit. I truly believe we have seen the beginning of a new season of Miracle Crusades in Phoenix. I’m here to tell you that God’s fresh anointing is beginning to descend in a way we have never seen before. And I know that the Lord has touched my heart with a fresh burden for the lost, as never before. As we hold these crusades throughout the nation and show the power of God on television, I believe God will use that to awaken millions in this land. We, as God’s people, the body of Christ, must tell America and the world in a loud voice that Jesus is the only way to Him: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

Saints, we must tell America and the world again that Jesus is the only way, for who else hung on the cross? Only He rose again and conquered death. God cannot honor any man or any group that will not exalt Jesus and only Jesus as the Savior of the world, for there is no other name: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Help me tell them. Help me shout it loud! Phoenix has confirmed what God is doing in our midst. I am ready to preach that message to America with the loudest voice ever, and I need your help.
