“For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” — Psalm 84:11 (KJV)
 
Read those words again: “No good thing will he withhold.”
Our God is not reluctant to bless His children. He is a loving Father who delights in caring for those who walk with Him.
 
Perhaps today you need God’s guidance in your family, your health, your work, or a decision that lies before you. Whatever you are facing, bring it into His presence. You do not have to carry it alone.
 
Begin thanking Him even before you see the answer. His goodness does not change with your circumstances, and His love does not diminish in seasons of waiting.
 
Sometimes His answer comes differently than we expected. A delay may leave us with questions. A closed door may bring disappointment. Yet we can trust that our Father sees what we cannot. His promise invites us to rest in His wisdom, even when we do not understand His timing.
 
Oh, precious friend, how I long for you to know Him more intimately! Beyond any answer you are seeking, there is the joy of knowing the One who loves you.
 
Spend time with Him today. Open His Word. Speak honestly about what is on your heart, and make room to listen. Let your fellowship with Him become the foundation of your peace.
 
As you walk with Him, hold the promise of Psalm 84:11 close to your heart:
 
The Lord is your sun and shield.
The Lord gives grace and glory.
And no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.
