The Bible tells us that after His resurrection, our precious Lord Jesus instructed His disciples to wait… to come apart… to prepare their hearts for the promise of the Father:
“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised… you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” (Acts 1:4–5)
They did not rush.
They did not strive.
They waited… together… in worship… in expectation.
“And they all joined together constantly in prayer…” (Acts 1:14)
And I sense that same call today—for you.
You may be facing pressures, uncertainties, or needs that weigh heavily on your heart. But I want you to know this: God sees you. He has not forgotten you.
“Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…” (Isaiah 40:31)
Beloved, the Holy Spirit is not distant from you—He is drawing near.
“Wait for the promise of the Father… and you shall receive power…” (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8)
He is waiting for a heart that is open… surrendered… expectant.
I want to encourage you to do something very simple, yet very powerful:
Make room for Him.
Take time today—even if just a few moments—to worship, to be still, to say:
“Holy Spirit, I welcome You.”
Because when you make room for Him… He will fill that space with His presence, His peace, and His power.
And I believe as you wait before the Lord, precious friend, something supernatural will happen in your life. The same Holy Spirit who came in power in that upper room is the same Holy Spirit moving today. He will strengthen you, guide you, heal what is broken, and fill your heart with fresh fire from heaven. Don’t allow distractions or burdens to steal these sacred moments with God. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. And as you make room for His presence, I believe you will step into a new season of victory, peace, and divine power in Jesus’ mighty name.
