Blessing Prayer for Week of May 19-25
“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20“
“Mighty Savior,
Every time healing is mentioned in the Word of God, it is mentioned in connection with the work of the cross and in connection with the forgiveness of sins. Thank You for the cross Lord. Your blood was shed that I might be saved and made whole. Wash me in Your precious blood again and forgive all of my sins. I will guard my tongue from speaking words of doubt and unbelief for I know that Your work in my life is complete and lacking nothing. Thank You for the fellowship I have in You. You have delivered me and multiplied your goodness on my behalf.
You are the Lord who satisfies me with long life.”
We serve a Savior who offered Himself not only as the sacrifice for our sins, but who also suffered the shame of Calvary’s cross to bring healing those who believe in Him. We are told: “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).
Matthew 18:19 declares:
“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
Amen
