Today’s Key Scripture

“Give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.”

God is a healing God, and His Spirit’s very presence brings hope for healing, deliverance, and restoration.

Chronicled in every book of the Bible is God’s power to heal. The Bible is the believer’s handbook for living, and only through its sacred pages can we discover the nature and character of God, along with the benefits and blessings that belong to us as His children:

“For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” says the Lord. (Jeremiah 30:17)

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases. (Psalm 103:1-3, KJV)

The whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all. (Luke 6:19)

If you or a loved one needs a miracle today, I encourage you to stand upon God’s Word as you spend time in His presence, praying and confessing His promises. As you do, faith for the miraculous will be birthed within your heart to trust God for your every need.

 

A Prayer for Today

I come to You today, Almighty God, asking for health and healing in every area of my life. I open my heart to You, even as I stand upon Your Word. I proclaim Your promises. And I ask You to anoint me today with Your overflow of joy and grace—from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. May this day be filled with purpose and goodness, regardless of what happens along the way. This I pray in Your lovely name, Jesus, amen.
