Today’s Key Scripture (all references NKJV unless otherwise noted:

I will accept you as a sweet aroma when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered; and I will be hallowed in you before the Gentiles.

—Ezekiel 20:41

One of the greatest parts of spending time every day with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit is the overwhelming acceptance that comes through forgiveness, anointing, and fellowship.

No matter what you have done or the mistakes that you have made, when the Lord forgives you, we are promised: “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us (Psalm 103:12, KJV).

That forgiveness brings peace: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1, KJV).

As Christians, we operate under a different set of rules. We are not under the law of destruction, but we are under the law of resurrection and forgiveness. The world lives in the negative, but we live in the positive. Everything the world lays its hands on dies, but everything God lays his hands on lives.

When the world lays its hands on you to influence you, it takes away from you, but when God lays His hands on you, He accepts you, blesses you, anoints you, and brings increase to your life.

Embrace His acceptance! Your praises will be a sweet savor to Him as you spend time in His presence.

A Prayer for Today:

Father, I praise You, as David wrote, “from the rising of the son to its going down” (Psalm 113:3). Blessed be Your Name that is above all names. I thank You that I live under Your law of resurrection and forgiveness instead of the evil one’s realm of destruction. Today, I ask that You fill my heart with more of You. May I forever have Your praise on my lips. I ask You to use me today, even as You continue to pour out Your mercy and love on me and my loved ones. I pray all this in Your Name, Master and Lord Jesus, Amen!
