Ihave received such wonderful responses to the “seed” teachings that I sent to you over the past months, so I want to send you the most exciting news about your seed.

This word is more important than ever, especially in the face of COVID-19 and all its related effects. This word deals specifically with what can happen when you discover the power of your unique seed.

How will your life change if you are able to nurture and energize the supernatural connection between your greatest need and your unusual seed?

Today, let me start with these three questions:

1. If you want to see increase in your finances, what are you willing to do?

2. Are you willing to do something out of the ordinary?

3. Are you willing to do the unusual?

If you answered “yes” to questions 2 and 3, this word is for you, for the more I’ve studied the Word of God, the more I’ve see that the God we serve is moved when He sees His children do the extraordinary in faith.

In fact, the Bible is filled with accounts of men and women whose unique, personal actions truly moved the hand of the Lord.

The Unusual

Take Noah, for example, who lived on the earth at a time when there was no rain. Since the day God created the earth, it had not rained, nor had there been any floods. Yet the time came when God came to Noah, telling him that it was going to rain and that He was going to destroy the wicked with a flood. Noah, at that moment, did the unusual. In obedience to God, he and his sons began building the ark, even as the wicked mocked and ridiculed them. The usual would have been to ignore God’s command, since rain had not been seen since creation. But Noah did the unusual, and as a result brought salvation to his household.

David is another example. When facing Goliath, he did the unusual (1 Samuel 17). The army of Israel had been defied by the giant. Thousands of men stood in fear of Goliath. None knew what to do—which is often the usual response. But David came, obeying the Lord, never doubting for one moment that He would give him the victory. He defeated Goliath because he was willing to do the unusual.

Or how about Mary, the mother of our Lord? She was told by the angel Gabriel that she would become the mother of the Son of God (Luke 19:28-44). The usual would have been not to believe. The usual would have been to worry about what Joseph would think. What would the neighbors think? What would they do to her? By law, they would have had to stone her. But she did the unusual. She believed God.

Or what about the apostles who did the unusual in disobeying the rulers of Israel? After the Day of Pentecost, as they began preaching the Gospel, they were commanded by the authorities not to preach in the name of Jesus (Acts 4). Preaching in His name would mean prison, persecution, and maybe even death. But the apostles did the unusual and obeyed God instead.

It is time that you and I begin to do the unusual for our glorious Lord and King, for He does not respond to the usual. He only responds to the unusual.

The widow of Zarephath (as recorded in 1 Kings 17), stepped out in faith and gave Elijah her last meal. She did the unusual and was sustained.

This is possible for you as you learn to make the divine connection between your need and your seed—how you can be protected and put in line for a supernatural harvest.

This is a principle that too few believers have discovered, yet it is a valuable, life-changing one that you can enact in your own life!

Your Unusual Seed

It is time we step out and do the unusual with our giving, for unusual days are here. God is looking for a people who will do the unique with Him and for Him, especially in a season of pandemic panic, financial upheaval, and emotional turmoil.

I am asking you today to sow an unusual seed, believing God for an unusual harvest during this unique season. As you do this, I believe you will see extraordinary miracles come your way.

The days ahead may look dark for the world, yet they are bright and filled with hope for you!

We must do our part! We must go and proclaim the Gospel, for the Bible declares:

“How shall they preach unless they be sent?” (Romans 10:15, KJV).

As you serve our wonderful Lord Jesus, by doing what He asks of you, no evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your dwelling.

One of the ways God desires to bless you is through His supernatural economy.

God desires to bless you and your loved ones beyond your wildest imagination. He wants to protect you. He wants to grant your requests. He declares again and again in His Word that He wants to prosper you, to overtake you with blessings.

Why?

He wants you to be blessed so you can be a blessing!

Plant your seed-gift into the fertile soil of this ministry, knowing our Lord’s clear-cut instructions:

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38).
