Blessing Prayer for Week of September 29-October 5

“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18“

Pray this prayer and let it guide you all week:

“Lord Jesus,

Forgive me for my ungratefulness. So many times I simply enjoy the gift and forget to thank the Giver. Fill me again with Your precious Holy Spirit who causes me to give thanks at all times. You are the source of all good things in my life. Please change my perspective where it needs to be changed and renew my mind as I meditate upon Your Word. Thank You for giving me great victory (1 Corinthians 15:57) and for causing me to triumph today (2 Corinthians 2:14).

Thank You for Your blessing upon my life.”

“Pray always,” Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer should be part of our daily life, for it gives us the opportunity for offering thanks and for staying in communication with the Father. Prayer also gives us the opportunity to come to Him with our requests.

The Father promises:

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which though knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3).

Matthew 18:19 declares:

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
