Blessing Prayer for Week of January 13-19
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelations 3:20
Mighty Savior,
The answer to my most urgent need is You. And You are so close, as close as the air I breathe. Because of the promises in Your Word my life’s darkest clouds have disappeared.
Forgive me for having the wrong picture of you. You are not unapproachable, harsh and angry with me.
You are always gentle, kind and loving towards me. You are more real than my next heartbeat and I find blessed fellowship in You.
I praise You Lord for You are all together lovely. Reveal yourself in a new way to me and draw me near. Thank You for your unfailing love.
“Pray always,” Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer should be part of our daily life, for it gives us the opportunity for offering thanks and for staying in communication with the Father. Prayer also gives us the opportunity to come to Him with our requests.
The Father promises:
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which though knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3).
Matthew 18:19 declares:
“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
