Blessing Prayer for Week of April 7-13
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God. 1 John 3:1“
Pray this prayer and let it guide you all week:
“Father God,
Because of Your sacrificial death I am able to receive life. Thank you for cleansing me from all sin. You have gone even further than that, not only am I forgiven – I am adopted into Your wonderful family! How true are the words to the song Amazing Grace. The blessing of Your grace is so sweet in my life. Your thoughts toward me are precious. The Psalms say that if I should try to count them they would more than the sand (Psalm 139:17-18). Thank You for Your love and Your tender mercies. I know that You will never forget me. I am graven on the palm of Your hand.
“Pray always,” Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer should be part of our daily life, for it gives us the opportunity for offering thanks and for staying in communication with the Father. Prayer also gives us the opportunity to come to Him with our requests.
The Father promises:
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which though knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3).
Matthew 18:19 declares:
“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
