Today’s Key Scripture
“My choice is you, God, first and only. And now I find I’m your choice! You set me up with a house and yard. And then you made me your heir!”
— Psalm 16:6, MSG
To finish this month’s devotionals on agreement in prayer, there’s no better time to remember our need to be in agreement with God Himself. After all, one of the greatest needs facing today’s believers is the need for God’s presence and power in our lives, every day and all day long. We must become prayer warriors who can touch the throne room of heaven.
That is only possible when we live in unity with our Father. Only then can we move into a dimension we’ve never experienced before.
If you are lacking in any area of your spiritual life, ask for the Lord’s help and see how a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit can help you gain (or regain) the abundant life that belongs to you in Christ.
As you ask the Spirit of God for guidance, He literally takes your knowledge of the Word and brings it to life so you can apply it to your daily walk in Christ Jesus: “The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (John 14:26).
And God’s Word says, “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20).
It all begins as you make a fresh commitment to spend time daily in agreement with Him!
A Prayer for Today
Father, it is so wonderful to wake up each day to spend time embraced in Your arms, empowered by You, and immersed in agreement with You. May I ever be mindful of what a unique privilege it is to come into Your presence. May I never take this cherished honor for granted. I seek to honor You with a willing spirit, an open heart, and an intense determination to serve You obediently and wholeheartedly today and every day for the rest of my life. Help me to walk in obedience and faith as I strive to follow Your will in my every word and deed. I pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

Coming Next Month
September’s Good Morning, Holy Spirit, Daily Devotionals will spotlight our Lord Jesus and how He taught by His example, especially in relation to the cherished time He spent in the Father’s presence.
Prayer and intimate times with God are crucial to a walk that is pleasing to the Lord and beneficial to us.
And during the coming month, I pray you will learn from Christ’s example as you enter into the Most Holy Place again and again.
