Today, the Body of Christ pauses to honor my dear friend Joni Lamb, a woman of unwavering faith and remarkable dedication to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Joni was known around the world as the co-founder of Daystar Television Network alongside her beloved late husband, Marcus Lamb. The flagship station, KMPX-TV in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, was founded in 1993.

To countless people, Marcus and Joni were much more than broadcasters or ministry leaders. They were devoted to bringing hope, healing, encouragement, and the message of salvation to millions across the nations.

Following the passing of Marcus in 2021, Joni carried forward the vision they built together with strength, grace, and determination. Through difficult seasons and enormous responsibility, she remained steadfast in her commitment to Christian television and the proclamation of the Gospel. Her leadership helped Daystar continue reaching homes around the world with biblical teaching, worship, prayer, and the message of Jesus Christ.

Joni also ministered through music, using her voice to worship the Lord and encourage believers through songs of faith, healing, hope, and intimacy with God. Whether singing on television broadcasts, ministry gatherings, or through recorded projects, her worship ministry touched hearts and reflected her deep love for the presence of the Lord. For many viewers, those moments of worship became a source of peace, strength, and encouragement during difficult times.

She became a familiar and comforting presence to millions—deeply passionate about encouraging believers to trust God through every season. She carried a unique ability to speak both with conviction and compassion, ministering not only from a platform but from the heart.

Those who knew her personally often spoke of her warmth, resilience, generosity, and sincere desire to help others. She understood the power of media to touch lives eternally, and she spent decades helping build one of the most influential Christian broadcasting ministries in the world.

The Benny Hinn Ministries family and I extend heartfelt love and prayers to her family, loved ones, friends, and the entire Daystar family during this difficult time. We pray that the peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit will surround all those grieving this tremendous loss.

Scripture reminds us: “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord” (Matthew 25:23 NKJV), and today, I honor a faithful servant whose life pointed many to Jesus Christ. Joni leaves behind a heritage that will continue for generations through the lives she impacted, the ministry she helped build, and the countless souls reached through the message of the Gospel. Though her earthly journey has ended, the fruit of her labor for the Kingdom of God will continue to echo around the world.
