James Robison’s Home-going Honored
Pastor Benny Hinn Joins Believers Worldwide in Tribute to the Evangelist, Author, Broadcaster, and Faithful Voice for the Gospel
With deep sadness, I learned this morning of the passing of my dear brother in Christ, James Robison. Today, the Body of Christ around the world pauses to honor a man whose life was wholly devoted to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ with boldness, compassion, and unwavering conviction.
Scripture declares in Psalm 116:15, “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” Certainly this is true for James Robison—a giant of the faith, a trailblazing evangelist, beloved author, and anointed minister of the Gospel, whose influence reached countless millions around the world.

From a very young age, James carried a burden to see souls saved and lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. Through massive evangelistic crusades, national ministry outreach, television broadcasting, and personal ministry, he faithfully lifted up the name of the Lord for decades. His passion for the lost never diminished.
James was also used mightily through the LIFE Today television ministry, which became a source of encouragement, truth, and hope to multitudes. Through that platform, he ministered not only to America, but to nations around the world, offering biblical truth during times when strong, uncompromising voices were desperately needed. His ministry reflected both conviction and compassion—a rare and powerful combination.
In addition to his preaching ministry, James authored more than a dozen books that strengthened believers and pointed readers back to faith in Christ and the authority of God’s Word. His voice carried wisdom, courage, and spiritual clarity that impacted generations.
I always deeply respected James Robison for his steadfast commitment to the Gospel and for his sincere love for people. He never lost sight of the mission God had placed upon his life. Through every season, he remained faithful to preach Christ crucified and risen again.
Today, I ask my partners around the globe to join me in praying especially for his wife, Betty, whom James loved so dearly, along with their entire family and the precious staff and ministry team who stood faithfully beside him through the years. Together, we ask the Lord to surround them with His peace, strength, and comfort during this difficult time.
While our hearts grieve, we rejoice in the assurance that James Robison is now in the presence of the Savior he loved and served so faithfully. His earthly race is complete, his reward is eternal, and his legacy will continue through the countless lives—including mine—touched by his anointed ministry.
The world has lost a great voice for the Gospel, but heaven has welcomed home a faithful servant!
