Pray for Maine
My love for Maine is deep, and it is especially difficult to imagine what these precious people of Lewiston are facing
Reports continue unfolding from the tragic mass shooting that occurred on October 25 in two separate places in Lewiston, Maine.
I’m asking for my worldwide partners to join me today in praying for the families who have been impacted by this needless tragedy, as well as for the healing of those injured. May God bring justice, comfort, and healing to those who are grieving and hurting today.
My love for Maine is deep, and it is especially difficult to imagine what these precious people of Lewiston are facing during the grim and challenging days ahead. I’m also lifting up the first responders and the law enforcement teams who are dealing with the ongoing investigation and aftermath.
We know that God alone is able to comfort those families experiencing this horrific heartbreak. His holy Word promises, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed” (Psalm 34:18, NLT).
Please join me in praying today and in the coming days that our Lord Jesus will watch over, protect, sustain, and comfort the suffering people of this area.
