From time to time Pastor Benny Hinn has been asked why this personal study series is named Fresh Manna. He has often pointed to Exodus16 gives a wonderful account of the first time we hear of manna: “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, `I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God'” (verses 11-13). Then in verse 15, Moses told them, “This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.” As with the children of Israel in the wilderness, God continues to give us fresh and living nourishment every day. That is the point of this study as he continues Romans 13 in which he explains the duties of living as “children of the day.”
