He is Risen

“This time of commemoration of what happened before, during, and after Calvary’s cross is a perfect opportunity to understand what we have and how crucial it is to share this blessed hope with a troubled world.”

As we look forward to the remembrance of Christ’s passion, crucifixion, death, burial, and glorious resurrection, I want to join you in celebrating all that He has done for each of us.

As we look forward to this weekend’s remembrance of Christ’s passion, crucifixion, death, burial, and glorious resurrection, I want to join you in celebrating all that He has done for each of us.

Above all else, may we be reminded anew that this week’s celebration of the Lamb of God’s resurrection is a time of hope, as the apostle Paul wrote, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

My prayer for you during this season is that you will come to know the cross of Jesus Christ in a deeper way than you have ever known! In fact, it is my heart’s desire that the work of the cross becomes the most important thing in your life, saturating everything you do!

I’ve often wondered, “Where would I be without Jesus?” I’m sure you have had the same thought.

The answer to that question should be sobering. Frankly, I don’t even want to think about it, for my life would be empty and meaningless.

As you look back at your life and see the Lord’s mighty hand at work drawing you to Him, your heart must also overflow with unspeakable joy, knowing that our Lord cared enough for you to come down to earth, live a sinless life, and give Himself as the perfect sacrifice for your sins.

This time of commemoration of what happened before, during, and after Calvary’s cross is a perfect opportunity to understand what we have and how crucial it is to share this blessed hope with a troubled world.

Truly the richest man without Jesus is poor, and the poorest man with Jesus is rich.

We are told, “Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope” (1 Timothy 1:1). Without the Lamb of God, we have no hope. Yet through His death, burial, and resurrection, we have an eternal hope!

The Word of God presents this glorious message to us from Genesis to Revelation. It is that hope we celebrate in this season!

The Glorious Cause of Christ

Now this same Jesus, who has touched our lives and given rest to our souls, is calling us to serve and obey Him.

Millions of men, women, and children around the world are craving, starving for, the glorious peace and joy that you and I know on a daily basis. This peace that passes all understanding, this joy that you and I have known since our salvation, is what humanity is crying out for.

Think about the billions of dollars humanity spends searching for joy and peace, yet true joy and peace come only through Jesus. And somebody’s got to tell them.

That “somebody” is you and me.

The Lord has called you and me to preach the glorious Gospel of salvation to the nations, and our time is running out.

In 1974 at the age of 21, I began to preach the Gospel, and I have been preaching it ever since…and will continue until the day I die.

As God in those days sent men and women to stand by me, now 36 years later, He’s still calling men and women so that His purpose might be fulfilled.

Today I write you to let you know that my heart’s cry has not diminished. In fact, it has gotten greater. The Gospel of Jesus must be preached, for necessity is laid upon you and me, and we must obey the Lord. We must accelerate our efforts before time runs out.

Our Lord Jesus declared, “As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” (John 20:21).

Think about this incredible privilege. Think about those words as Almighty God who spoke the universe into existence, the Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, sent His Son Jesus to earth. And this same God—the mighty One, the eternal One, the everlasting God—has called you and me to proclaim the Gospel to the nations.

And today, He has called you and me for this specific reason:

Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. (Romans 9:17)

We serve a risen Lord and Savior!

Taking the Gospel to the Nations

How do we serve Him best?

Benny Hinn on stage

We must proclaim the Gospel throughout the world! Paul wrote that God has called and anointed us so His purpose might be accomplished—to love the world, even as Christ gave Himself for those who are needy, hurting, and lost.

Back in the 1970s, the late Keith Green recorded a powerful song written by his wife, Melody, that always brings me to tears anytime I hear it:

Open your eyes to the world all around you, open your eyes, open your eyes.
This world is much more than the things that surround you.
You must arise, and open your eyes.
Sometimes we’re too busy to share, but Jesus wants to care, to care.

Jesus says, when we love someone in His name, we’re loving Him.
Jesus says, when we touch someone in His name, we’re touching Him.
And we’ve got to show them the light, we’ve got to pour out our lives.

Open your hearts to the ones who are desperate,
open your hearts, open your hearts.
They may never repay you, but their souls are worth it,
The life you impart when you open your heart.
Jesus loves all men the same,
So we’ve got to go out in His name.

We serve a risen Savior! We have a message that offers salvation, peace, and hope.

For 45 years, we have faithfully and boldly preached “Jesus Christ, and him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2). Today, more than ever before, that message burns brightly across the globe because of partners like you.

We serve Him best by loving the lost and dying enough to share the blessed hope in our hearts, no matter the cost!

That is my heart’s cry, and I pray that during this sacred season God will increasingly open our hearts to those who don’t know Him, many of whom have never heard the Good News even once!

And so today, as you sow your most generous seed-offering for the spread of the Gospel, you can be assured that giving toward the Gospel attracts our Father’s attention.

As you give, it will be given back to you.

“Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine” (Proverbs 3:9-10).

And I pray that He who is “able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20) will bless you beyond measure.

Because of your obedience today, the Lord will bless you financially as He blessed Isaac so long ago. The Bible teaches that Isaac sowed his seed in faith, even in times of famine, and he received from God a hundredfold return in the same year (Genesis 26:12).

What a wonderful risen Lord Jesus we celebrate, not only during the coming weekend, but throughout the year!

And I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for serving Him as my precious partner. I am grateful beyond words for all you are doing for the kingdom of God!

For the glorious and eternal cause of our precious Lord, Jesus Christ,

Benny Hinn

What better time to plant your generous seed-gift toward the Gospel than during this Resurrection Celebration season? When you plant, you will reap a harvest, and when you plant your seed with the Holy Spirit’s direction, the results can be utterly amazing.

Plant your seed toward taking the Gospel of our risen Lord Jesus to the nations, then see what God does in your life and be ready to reap the financial harvest He pours out upon you and your loved ones!
