Today’s Key Scripture (all references NKJV unless otherwise noted):

Keep creating in me a clean heart.

Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you

— Psalm 51:10, TPT

Many people attempt to comprehend what God is doing in the world without intimately knowing the God of the Bible. Their minds may be filled with knowledge, yet they cannot understand what they have read because they don’t seek Him diligently through His Word.

When a relationship is established, a revelation also grows, as evangelist, pastor, and author Dwight L. Moody (1837-1899) once said, “A Christian on his knees will see more than a philosopher on his tip toes.”

God stands ready to provide answers to our deepest desires. He says, “For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass” (Ezekiel 12:25). Yet how can we know what God has in store for us during coming days unless we are willing to spend time in His Word seeking His wisdom, His knowledge?

When we want to move into a deeper dimension of anointing, we must commit ourselves to knowing Him more. We must commit our lives to cleanliness. That knowledge and His wisdom, as well as a lifetime of victory, comes only through a commitment to righteousness, a diligent study of His Word, and a desire to spend time in His lovely presence.

A Prayer for Today:

Dear Lord, as I rise to meet this new day, I ask that You fill me to overflowing with Your precious Holy Spirit. Wherever I go, let me spread love, joy, peace, goodness, and faithfulness. Let me desire to become more like You. Help me to worship you in all I do today. Help us desire these things so much more than the sin that entices me will become less and less attractive. Thank you for always guiding me into truth through Your Word. I pray for all this in Your mighty name, Lord Jesus, Amen!
