Key Scripture

“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you.”

— 2 Thessalonians 3:1

Agreement opens doors.

In our ministry, we have seen God unlock “impossible” doors all over the world, including in Russia, China, the Middle East, and so many more places. Our television programs and streaming services have been able to reach people in many countries and regions that are absolutely closed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And one of the most improbable open doors was a three-day event in India, attended by more than 7.3 million people, the largest healing and evangelistic crusade in recorded history!

I am convinced it is the power of agreement that has enabled the Word to reach places where the Gospel is forbidden and even persecuted.

Is it any wonder why the apostle Paul requested believers to “continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; 3 meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains” (Colossians 4:2-3).

When you agree in prayer, the message of salvation can move into places that were previously considered impossible!

A Prayer for Today

Father, I ask You to help believers join together in unity for the lost and hurting all around the world. Beginning with me, help Your children to get past our faults, our flaws, and our failures. Grant us the ability to unite under Your banner of love and put aside our differences. Remind us that we are to have Your mind, even as we seek to see Your kingdom expand. Give understanding and grace to all and bring us together in prayer. Guide my steps today as I trust my life to You and live in harmony with others. Lord. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.
