God is Moving Mightily

“When God called me to establish this ministry, I never imagined the blessings that lay ahead. I never dreamed that record-attendance crowds would witness firsthand God’s demonstrated power or that multiplied millions would receive Christ as Lord and Savior.”

In a couple of weeks, I will turn 67 years old. Even as I look at the sentence I just wrote, I can hardly believe it to be possible!

A few days after that, I will also mark the 46th anniversary of this ministry’s beginning. Milestones such as these always bring a season of reflecting on the past, as well as a time of focusing on the future.

What God has been showing me, He has also moved me to share candidly with you.

You would be surprised at the number of times in recent years that I’ve been asked, “Are you thinking about slowing down or traveling less? After all, you’ve held the largest gatherings in recorded history, you’ve written international bestselling books, and you’ve had one of the most-recognized Christian television programs for decades. You’ve seen millions come to Christ. What more is there to do?”

My answer: There is so much more to do!

Back in 1972, not long after I became a believer, God showed me a vision of a fiery inferno with souls falling into the flames; and then He spoke to me, “If you do not preach, I will hold you responsible.”

And I know that 47 years later God has so much more for me to do until He takes me home!

In 2019 our ministry has seen powerful victories and mighty outpourings through our conferences, Miracle Healing Services, This Is Your Day telecasts, website, social media connections, children’s homes, and other outreaches.

We’ve seen multiplied thousands of lost souls accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We’ve witnessed untold bodies and minds healed. Numerous families have been changed forever!

God is moving mightily, and all the glory and honor belong to Jesus for all He has done.

Many Memorable Miracles!

I would love for you to sit with me in my office as I read testimony after testimony from people around the world. I’ve selected a few special ones to share with you here:

• Indonesia Miracle
The last time I ministered in Jakarta, two ladies and a gentleman from Mumbai, India, traveled nearly 2,900 miles (4,654 kilometers) to attend that Miracle Crusade. One of the ladies said she had tried to attend our crusade in Mumbai but was unable to get in because of the massive crowds that numbered in the millions.

Determined to be healed, she and her family traveled from India to Jakarta to receive a miracle. During the service, God’s healing power touched her, and she came forward to testify about what had happened. I asked them if they were Christians. When they said no, I then asked if they wanted to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. They responded yes, and I invited them to pray the prayer for salvation with me.

As tears rolled down their cheeks, I embraced them, and the crowd erupted in spontaneous elation, praising God for the greatest miracle of all—salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ.

• Houston Outpouring
An hour after one service in Houston, Texas, long after the final “amen,” a 10-year-old boy named Gabriel sat with his mother in the auditorium. Even as the lights were being turned off, he didn’t want to leave the place where he had experienced his dramatic healing a short time earlier.

Still in his hospital clothes and wearing a hospital mask, the boy had been brought directly from Houston’s prestigious M.D. Anderson Hospital. His body was riddled with cancer, and he desperately needed a miracle. But when the anointing fell during the service, he became frightened at what was happening, begging his mother to leave and go back to the safety of the hospital.

Then God intervened! One of our staff pastors sensed what was happening and was led to talk to the boy, saying, “You don’t have to go up on the platform to be healed. God can heal you anywhere you are.”

As our pastor prayed over the sick child, God moved mightily! In a matter of seconds, the youngster went from sickness, fear, and begging to leave the service, to being healed miraculously, filled with peace, and basking in God’s glory.

God is Continuing to Move Mightily!

I never dreamed that record-attendance crowds would witness firsthand God’s demonstrated power or that multiplied millions would receive Christ as Lord and Savior. Who would have thought that a skinny kid from Jaffa, Israel, with a stuttering problem would one day be used by God in such a way!

It is with humility and amazement that I look back at what He has done in this ministry over the past 45 years. How could I do anything but redouble my commitment to Christ and my sacred calling?

Honestly, reflecting on what He has done in my life makes me want to work harder and travel even more in the days to come.

And here is what God is showing me so clearly: In the coming days He’ll send a tremendous anointing and accelerate His intensity in the Spirit and His outpouring here and around the world!

As I continue receiving reports of testimonies like these, how could I even consider slowing down?

There is so much more to be done. I truly believe the greatest outpouring is still ahead!

Yes, we have seen powerful miracles in the past. Many precious souls have been changed by the power of God because my faithful partners and co-laborers have continued to help send me to the nations.

Through your prayers, encouragement, and gifts, you’ve been with me in each of these places. You have helped me use any means possible to reach the lost and needy around the world.

Yet we cannot be content to simply look back at what He has done. Far from it!

As you are helping fulfill God’s calling upon this ministry, He is moving powerfully through this ministry and displaying His glorious power.

My Prayer: Not One Soul Missed!

Watching people tremble and weep under the anointing, my heart cries out, “Dear Jesus, please don’t let one soul miss hearing the life-saving, miracle-working message of Your Gospel.”

Because you, too, recognize that this troubled world desperately needs the anointing and the power of God, you have helped me go to the nations, proclaim the clear message that He cares, He saves, and He heals.

Yet, even in the midst of miracles, I am faced with a mountainous challenge that I must share with you.

I tell you quite frankly today that I have had a difficult time as I write these words to you, but I know God is leading me to share from my heart. And I’m urging you to listen as the Lord speaks to you right now. You and I have faced many monumental obstacles before, but unless we see our own miracle soon, this ministry will be greatly hindered in the coming days.

I must make critical decisions now!

As we plan upcoming Miracle Healing Services and conferences and make projections for the many outreaches of this ministry, and as we seek God’s direction concerning the future, I am faced with critical decisions about some of our services, travel plans, technology advances, and staffing needs.

In the past I have always tried to be open with you when I’ve faced these challenges, so I’m coming to you today with this urgent request.

We simply cannot continue going through all the open doors without your help today.

I do not write these words lightly, nor do I say them often, but the need right now is absolutely vital and timely. I am asking you not to delay but to send the best gift you can give today! I need your help to say YES to those souls whose hearts will be touched and lives changed through each of our many outreaches.

The doors are wide open to our ministry today, but we don’t know how long they will remain unlocked, especially in such a volatile, uncertain world.

We Must Tell the World Now!

At this critical hour, I face the decision to go forward now or possibly never.

I must hear from you today!

I pray that the Lord will speak to your heart to stand with me so I might be free from this financial burden. Sow your most generous seed-gift now so the Gospel can continue to be preached and the power of God can be manifested in our services.

We know that the God we serve “is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV).

I have proclaimed this message faithfully and fearlessly for nearly 45 years, and I know, as you know, there is nothing impossible with God.

Nothing!

Not now or ever!

I believe this with everything inside me, and I pray God will touch your heart to help me raise enough money to pay the ongoing expenses and plans for this beloved ministry.

Help me say yes!

May I count on you to make an eternal difference in the lives of the next couple that travels from India to Indonesia seeking a miracle?

I have only one life to give, and I want to spend every remaining day for my wonderful Lord Jesus, fulfilling the call He placed on my life back in 1974.

With you as my faithful co-laborer, we can truly help fulfill the Great Commission as we reach the nations for the glorious and eternal cause of Jesus Christ, our precious Savior and Lord.

Help me say yes to the lost and hurting around the world.

I am asking you, from the depth of my heart, to give today for this mighty work of God so we can continue to make preparations to take the good news of Jesus Christ through the awesome doors He has opened to us.

I look forward to hearing from you and receiving your generous offering toward taking the Gospel to the nations while there is still time.
