How To Get Your Loved Ones Saved

Three Keys to Seeing Your Loved Ones Accept Jesus

  • It is time for those loved ones to be saved!

  • In intercession, your prayer no longer remains a request.

  • Claim your covenant provisions as you stand in faith on behalf of your lost loved ones.

We are entering into an amazing new season that I believe the Lord is going to anoint mightily! One of the things on my heart has been the salvation of loved ones whom I have prayed about for a long time. Do you have loved ones who need Jesus Christ?

Perhaps you’re thinking, “But you don’t know MY loved ones. It would take a miracle of biblical proportions for them to ever be saved!”

It is time for those loved ones to be saved!

Last week I shared the key to seeing the anointing released in your life. This week I want to share how that anointing can fall upon your family, too!

I’ve found that as soon as we receive Jesus, most of us immediately begin praying for our lost family members to accept Him too. We want them to discover for themselves what we experienced during that life-changing moment when we become new creations in Christ Jesus.

It certainly was that way when I was a new believer!

Seasons

Please understand that back then I had no idea about how God works, nor how He chooses to move in times and seasons. All I knew is that I loved my family members, and I wanted each of them to know Jesus Christ as personal Savior. I wanted to make sure that all of them would avoid an eternity separated from God and would spend forever with me in the splendor of heaven.

Yet nothing seemed to be happening. I prayed and prayed and prayed, just as you may have prayed and prayed and prayed. Nothing may appear to be changing. You may feel as if you are dying on the inside because nothing is happening on the outside.

Let me tell you, on the authority of God’s Word, that the season for the salvation of your family is coming!

You may have been faithful as you have stood on God’s promises and claimed His guarantees for your loved ones, and you may have been praying for decades for your family members, but everything can change when faith begins to build in your heart and God reveals to you the secret of taking authority.

Three Keys to Seeing Your Loved Ones Accept Jesus as Savior and Lord

It can happen for you. You have prayed. You have believed. You have stood in the gap. But now it is time to expect that miracle to happen.

As believers we must know that God guarantees the salvation of our loved ones:

“Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away,

And the prey of the terrible be delivered;

For I will contend with him who contends with you,

And I will save your children.” (Isaiah 49:25, NKJV)

It can happen for you, too, and here are three quick keys for the salvation of your lost loved ones:

Key # 1: Stand on God’s guarantees for the salvation of your family.

There are many powerful promises throughout the Bible. Jeremiah tells us:

Thus saith the Lord;

“Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the Lord; and they shall come back from the land of the enemy. There is hope in your future, says the Lord, that your children shall come again to their own border” (Jeremiah 31:16-17, NKJV)

We have another mighty promise in Isaiah 54:13, NKJV: “And your children shall be taught by the Lord; and great shall be the peace of your children.”

And the apostle Peter assures us, “the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call” (Acts 2:39, NKJV).

Declare God’s Word on behalf of your loved ones! Stand on His promises!

Key # 2: Learn to intercede effectively for each family member.

Intercession involves more than reminding God of someone’s lost spiritual condition or offering a prayer on behalf of someone.  It means to go on behalf of another, to take the place of.

Lot and his family were rescued from the destruction of Sodom because Abraham stood in the gap as an intercessor on their behalf.

We are told:

“I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one” (Ezekiel 22:30, NKJV).

Stand in the gap! Intercede for your lost loved ones. Claim your covenant provisions as you stand in faith on behalf of your lost loved ones. In intercession, your prayer no longer remains a request. It becomes a raging battle for the soul of each of your loved ones!

Key # 3: Take authority as a believer and challenge the devil for the souls of your loved ones.

Today, refuse fear and embrace boldness. Attack the enemy and engage in spiritual warfare!

We have authority over the enemy who is controlling and binding the lives of our loved ones. It is time we declare the promises “by force” (Matthew 11:12). Scripture promises: “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).

It’s time for the devil to flee from your loved ones! It is time that you resist the enemy with the Word of God. Because the Lord tells us to resist the devil, we must resist him. We must resist him now on behalf of our loved ones, the ones who are struggling under his controlling influence.

Most of us begin praying for our lost family members as soon as we become Christians. After all, the salvation of each loved one is one of the dearest things to any person’s heart. However, we often fail to understand God’s guarantees, the power of intercession, and the authority our Lord has given to us.

You and I know that you are not buying a miracle or a loved one’s salvation—far from it—but we do know that as we sow financially for the salvation of the lost around the world, God will honor us and bring salvation to our loved ones.
