Healing Prayer for Week of December 22-28

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalm 28:7”

Pray this prayer and let it guide you all week:

“Blessed Lord,

I thank you for Your touch on my life today. I praise You for being my Healer. I lift my hands in Your name and give You glory. Only You bring rest to my life (Joshua 1:13). Only You give me the place where the sole of my foot treads (Joshua 1:3). Only You go with me wherever I go (Joshua 1:9). I choose to be strong and of good courage today. No matter what the doctor may say, I will not be afraid or dismayed. You are my strength and my song and You are my salvation (Exodus 15:2-3).

We serve a Savior who offered Himself not only as the sacrifice for our sins, but who also suffered the shame of Calvary’s cross to bring healing those who believe in Him. We are told: “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

Matthew 18:19 declares:

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
