Blessing Prayer for Week of November 10-16

“If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? Hebrews 12:7”

Pray this prayer and let it guide you all week:

“Dearest Master,

Remove today any image I have of You that is not right. Sometimes, because of life’s difficult experiences I have had misconceptions of who You really are. But, I know You are nothing like that. Yes, difficulty may come, but Your Word says that you occasionally chastise us for our good (Hebrews 12:7-9). You are always gentle, kind, and loving to Your children. I open my heart now to receive Your direction and I choose to walk in Your blessings today. Thank you Lord for Your loving kindness towards me.

“Pray always,” Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer should be part of our daily life, for it gives us the opportunity for offering thanks and for staying in communication with the Father. Prayer also gives us the opportunity to come to Him with our requests.

The Father promises:

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which though knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3).

Matthew 18:19 declares:

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
