Blessing Prayer for Week of July 28-August 3

“Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Psalm 119:33“

Pray this prayer and let it guide you all week:

“Lord Jesus,

Like David I ask You to come and work Your grace in my life. Deal bountifully with me. I want to live and keep Your Word (Psalm 119:17). Open my eyes. I want to see mighty revelations (Psalm 119:18). Teach me how to love and serve You. I want to walk in the path of Your commandments (Psalm 119:35). Establish Your everlasting Word in my life Lord, I am devoted to serving You (Psalm 119:38). Direct my steps today and every day. More than anything else I want to closely to You.

“Pray always,” Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer should be part of our daily life, for it gives us the opportunity for offering thanks and for staying in communication with the Father. Prayer also gives us the opportunity to come to Him with our requests.

The Father promises:

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which though knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3).

Matthew 18:19 declares:

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
