“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” — Ephesians 5:16 (KJV)
There are moments in life when the Holy Spirit whispers a word that seems to pierce straight into the center of our hearts. Today’s verse is one of those words: “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
We live in days when time feels short, opportunities seem fleeting, and the enemy seeks to convince us that what has been lost can never be regained. Yet the Word of God tells a different story. Our God is the great Redeemer—not only of souls, but of time itself!
Think of it: faith operates outside the limitations of clocks and calendars. Heaven’s economy does not measure your destiny by deadlines. By faith, the years that seemed wasted can be restored. By faith, what was stolen can be recovered. By faith, you can walk into blessings that make up for every missed opportunity.
Joel 2:25 promises, “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.” That means nothing in your life, your family, or your business is beyond God’s power to redeem. If you feel as though something has slipped away, take courage—through Christ, nothing is missing and nothing is lacking!
Seeds of Honor Redeem Time
Your giving is more than an act of generosity. The Bible calls it a “sweet smelling savor” (Philippians 4:18), a fragrance that continually rises before the throne of God. Every time you sow a Seed of Honor, it speaks on your behalf in heaven. It is as if your seed becomes a continual conversation with God, testifying of your faith and your love for His anointed.
These seeds are not forgotten. They are not wasted. They are working even when you do not see them. In fact, they are seeds of redeeming time. God has a way of causing one act of obedience, one offering, to unlock doors that years of effort never could.
Faith Steps Beyond Time
Faith does not bow to time’s restrictions. Abraham was nearly a hundred years old when he received his promised son. Sarah was barren, yet through faith she conceived. The Shunammite woman thought it was too late to have a child, but when she sowed into the prophet’s life, God redeemed her story.
This is what God is declaring over you: your faith is greater than the clock, your seed is speaking louder than your losses, and your future is brighter than your past.
A Declaration
Today, lift your hands and declare:
“Father, I thank You that You are redeeming my time. I thank You that by faith nothing is missing and nothing is broken in my life. I believe my Seeds of Honor are speaking before You, and I receive restoration, increase, and divine acceleration in Jesus’ name. Amen!”
Beloved, God is redeeming the time for you. Walk boldly, knowing that in His Kingdom, nothing is ever truly lost.
