Today’s Key Scripture

“Be filled with the Spirit.”

— Ephesians 5:18

Now more than ever, I am convinced of the importance of seeking a fresh, daily anointing of the Holy Spirit. Without this anointing of the Holy Spirit, we are faced with seven impossibilities:

  1. It is impossible to know God without the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:3).
  2. It is impossible to understand the kingdom of God without the Holy Spirit (Luke 17:21).
  3. It is impossible to know the truth without the Holy Spirit (John 14:26).
  4. It is impossible to stay free from sin without the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:2).
  5. It is impossible to pray with power without the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26).
  6. It is impossible to have a faith-filled life without the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 5).
  7. It is impossible to live an unshakable, established Christian life without the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 3:16-17).

 

You need the Holy Spirit fresh and new every hour of every day!

Spend time in His presence, seeking His presence. Then, with His help and guidance, may you achieve great things for God in whatever you do today and in the future.

 

A Prayer for Today

My heavenly Father, I see Your fresh anointing today. I submit to You. I desire to be obedient to You. I long to be refreshed by the oil of your Holy Spirit as it flows over my life. Father, I declare that the supernatural be at work in my life through healing, deliverance, signs, wonders, and miracles. Help me reflect Your light as it burns strong in my life through Your anointing. Give me the strength to overcome everything that stands against me today. Nurture and guide me through Your unfailing love. I look forward today to all You have in store for me, and I pray all this in the name above all names, Jesus, amen.
