Today’s Key Scripture

“It shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.”

— Ezekiel 47:9

The anointing can be described as a river that flows from deep within.

When we pray and spend time in God’s presence, following the example set by our Lord Jesus, God pours His Spirit out to bring life for a specific reason.

The anointing descends for a higher purpose than an emotional experience. God wants to fill us with His life, not only to bring change and fulfillment to our life but that in turn, we can help reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Someone once asked me, “Where do you go from here?”

I said, “Higher.”

God truly wants you to walk in a deeper level, a higher dimension in Him. It is all yours if you want it.

Eternity never stops. God’s blessing and anointing is without measure, and that is why the Christian life is so exciting. You will never come to the end of your experience in God. The Lord is always revealing more. This is why the angels cry, “Holy! Holy! Holy!” God’s love is without limit and His faithfulness reaches the sky.

And every new mountaintop experience will come because of the intimate time you spend in His presence, seeking more of Him through prayer.

A Prayer for Today

Father in heaven, in Psalm 84:10 You tell us that a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I pray for this wonderful and divine access to Your spiritual realm. Open wide the doors of heaven and pour Yourself upon my life. I want to be with You, spend time in Your presence, and draw closer to You with every passing day. Lord, open the doors of heaven over my life, even as You supernaturally close all doors of evil. Keep me holy, pure, and true, as I continually draw closer to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
