Today’s Key Scripture

“You will light my lamp; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places.”

— Psalm 18:28-33

Because of what Jesus Christ did at Calvary, we can be anointed by God’s touch in everything we do.

  1. W. Tozer, the late noted Bible teacher, described this experience: “Nothing can take the place of the touch of God in the soul and the sense of Someone there.”

The anointing of God causes us to soar above the places we’ve been. God’s love for us is without measure, and His promise is that as we seek Him, we will find Him when we search for Him with all of our heart.

God’s grace is sufficient for you, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness. In His presence, you will find all that you will ever need.

What strength does our Lord Jesus give? It is the capacity for endurance and the power to resist any force or attack. God will strengthen you with His anointing and take you from one high point to the next.

Did you know that God has even commanded strength toward you? God’s anointing will cause you to go from weakness to great strength, from lack to great abundance, from passivity to great power.

God has commanded your strength.

A Prayer for Today

Father God, You are the rock of my salvation. I run to You today, believing that You will strengthen me for the road ahead. Fuel me for the tasks You have given me to do. Help me endure. Protect me from any force that would attack and wound me. Take me from one mountaintop to the next, but stay with me through the valleys too. Lord, renew my strength. Fill me with Your supernatural power to overcome each obstacle in my path. I will keep my eyes on You, Lord. Thank You for allowing me to walk with You in communion and intimacy. I love You with all of my heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
