Dr. Joe VanKoevering’s Homegoing Honored
Psalm 116:15 declares, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” Certainly this is true for my friend, Dr. Joe VanKoevering, who blazed worldwide trails as broadcaster, author, and pastor.
Pastor Benny Hinn joins with other international leaders in honoring his friend’s homegoing, saying:
Even as I grieve Dr. Joe VanKoevering’s passing from this earth, I’m also rejoicing that he has graduated to his heavenly reward.
I am praying for the VanKoevering family, including his precious wife, Kaye, and their ministry’s staff.
Psalm 37:23 states that a person’s steps are ordered by the Lord. Certainly, this was true of each step of Dr. VanKoevering’s remarkable life.
Known for his dynamic personality and prophetic comprehension, Dr. VanKoevering was recognized by millions around the world as host of the syndicated television program God’s News Behind the News(founded 60 years ago by his father-in-law, the late Ray Brubaker) and publisher of the magazine by the same name, an insightful prophecy resource to thousands.
For the past quarter-century, Dr. VanKoevering hosted the International Prophecy Conference, considered by many to be the prophetic event each year. He also served as pastor to Gateway Christian Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Some of his popular books include Led by God, Unveiling the Man of Sin, God’s Final Call to America, and Exposing the Scoffers.
I can only imagine his welcoming reception in heaven.
Dr. VanKoevering truly inspired my life in so many ways. Spending time with him was always a blessing, and my respect for him has continued to grow monumentally throughout the years.
Only eternity will measure the impact of this beloved man’s life, but the time has come to join his loved ones and other believers around the world in mourning his passing. I unite with the many others in celebrating Dr. Joe VanKoevering’s reunion in heaven with all those who are there as a result of his ministry, and especially his face-to-face greeting from the Lord Jesus, whom my beloved brother served so faithfully during his memorable lifetime.
