“Blessed Lord,
In You I have received wisdom. You have shown me how to lead a healthy life and how to have a healthy body. Thank You for medical science and the discoveries and breakthroughs that are provided there. Help me to be faithful to the good things I have learned, to keep a good diet, exercise and get proper rest. I know that my body is the temple where Your Spirit dwells. Help me to be a good caretaker of the temple You have given me. I give You thanks for all the things You have done. I offer my praise for the miracle of life. Each and every day, I pray that I might walk in wisdom and purity before You.
We serve a Savior who offered Himself not only as the sacrifice for our sins, but who also suffered the shame of Calvary’s cross to bring healing those who believe in Him. We are told: “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).
Matthew 18:19 declares:
“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
