Blessing Prayer for Week of November 3-9

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5”

Pray this prayer and let it guide you all week:

“Dearest Master,

I have great peace today because I love You. I won’t lean on my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5, 6). I acknowledge You even now. Direct my paths Lord. Lead me and I will follow You all the way. I cast the burden of my illness upon You (Psalm 55:22). Thank You for sustaining me. In You I cannot be moved. When I pass through the waters You are there. When I walk through the fire You are there. I believe Your report today. Your report says that I am healed! You give power to the faint and I believe that You will increase my strength today. Oh, how I love You Lord Jesus. You are my constant Companion and dearest Friend.

We serve a Savior who offered Himself not only as the sacrifice for our sins, but who also suffered the shame of Calvary’s cross to bring healing those who believe in Him. We are told:

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

The Father promises:

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which though knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3).

Matthew 18:19 declares:

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
