Blessing Prayer for Week of November 17-23

“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. Nahum 1:7”

“Blessed Lord Jesus,

You have not given me a spirit of fear; but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). When trouble comes I will not be afraid for You are a strong hold in trouble. I dwell in Your secret place and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). No evil can befall me and no plague can come near my dwelling for You have given Your angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways (Psalm 91:10-11). You are my confidence Lord. I’m established in Your righteousness. I place my trust in You today.

We serve a Savior who offered Himself not only as the sacrifice for our sins, but who also suffered the shame of Calvary’s cross to bring healing those who believe in Him. We are told:

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

Matthew 18:19 declares:

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
