Pray this prayer and let it guide you all week:
Just like those who gathered in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost cause me to feel the breath of Almighty God. As Your Spirit blows upon my life I am transformed and empowered. I want to become close to You Lord, to walk in Your ways and to be daily transformed into a new person. A person who is more and more like You. I honor You Lord. I thank You for Your shed blood. Cause the fire of Your Holy Spirit to baptize my life. In You I trust and believe. Seal me even now with the Holy Spirit of promise (Ephesians 1:13).
“Pray always,” Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer should be part of our daily life, for it gives us the opportunity for offering thanks and for staying in communication with the Father. Prayer also gives us the opportunity to come to Him with our requests.
The Father promises:
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which though knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3).
Matthew 18:19 declares:
“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
