Blessing Prayer for Week of February 17-23

“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:31“

Pray this prayer and let it guide you all week:

“Lord Jesus,

I am not like those living in the world that are without hope and without God. Your grace has forever changed my life. Your amazing grace covered my guilt with Your righteousness. I am kept by Your grace and bow again now at the foot of Your cross. Even my very best is as filthy rags, but You have lifted me up out of a pit, set my feet on a firm, high place and showered me with Your love. Help me to proclaim Your mighty resurrection power. I want to share with others how You have caused me to persevere and prevail. Even now as I reflect upon Your salvation I thank You for the unsearchable riches You have given to me.

I praise You today. You are my joy and song.”

“Pray always,” Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer should be part of our daily life, for it gives us the opportunity for offering thanks and for staying in communication with the Father. Prayer also gives us the opportunity to come to Him with our requests.

The Father promises:

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which though knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3).

Matthew 18:19 declares:

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
