Updated: December 9, 2020

You are making a difference—right now and for all eternity—through Benny Hinn Ministries newest arm, Compassion for the Hungry! Because of you, families aren’t going to bed hungry tonight. You are helping devastated households survive.

You are bringing joy to a child’s face on Christmas morning. You are providing holiday meals. You are letting people caught in tough spots know they are not alone or forgotten by God, Benny Hinn Ministries, and other believers.

Now, more than ever, families need hope and children need joy. Through recent efforts together with like-minded ministries and organizations, we are helping to share God’s love tangibly through immediate aid supplies.

As a result of you and me being Christ’s arms extended and hands outreached, thousands of hearts are being transformed by the Gospel.

Best of all, it’s happening right now!

God spoke to me in 2018 that I must help the needy increasingly during the next phase of my ministry.

I heard the Lord’s words in an unusual way: “Read Psalm 41 right now!” It was a passage I knew well and had read hundreds of times. Suddenly it was as if a spotlight switched on, especially illuminating this verse: “Blessed is he who considers the poor.” Suddenly those words came alive in my soul. As I read verses 1-3 of that chapter, I was reminded of seven distinct promises (deliverance, preservation, security, promise, protection, strength, and healing).

God’s Word to me was so forceful and direct that I knew this was a critical turning point for our ministry. These promises were directly from the throne room—promises that depended upon believers taking action to give sacrificially to change the circumstances of those in need.

That was the beginning of Compassion for the Hungry, formed and operated as an extension of Benny Hinn Ministries. Because of your help, that vision is continuing to mature and grow in real and tangible ways!

Let me share recent victories during recent weeks:

California Wildfires

California’s intense wildfires this year have created an unfortunate milestone – the first “gigafire” scorched over over 4M acres. Five of the six largest fires ever recorded in the state have already occurred in 2020, resulting in dozens of deaths and thousands of lost buildings including homes, churches, and businesses.

With over 53,000 California families displaced, God’s people rose up to bring help and hope.  Compassion for the Hungry, working with CityServe and others, to quickly set up relief pick-up locations where overwhelmed families could find immediate aid, food, and personal prayer to bring them the hope of the Gospel and help them survive the coming days of restoration and bring the hope of the Gospel.

With your help, we’ve been able to deliver truckloads of groceries and much-needed supplies.

Texas Feeding Programs

During recent weeks, as a result of partnering with CityServe, Christ for the Nations Institute, Inspired Vision Compassion Center, and other local churches and ministries throughout the Lone Star State, over 800,000 pounds of food, household supplies, and personal items have been distributed in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with additional distribution to other cities throughout Texas.

Through our coordination efforts, over 1,700 families have been blessed with food, fresh produce, dairy, milk and cheese, yogurt, potatoes, onions, and at least 6-7 pounds of meat.

Best of all, numerous salvations and miracles have been reported. Many tears have flowed as our staffers and co-workers have prayed over the people, asking God to give protection, favor, strength, and courage during the coming days.

One observer remarked, “The people came in droves for food, but they received the hope of the Gospel and personal prayer!”

Florida Christmas Feeding and Gift Outreach

In cooperation with Pastor John Murphy and Harvest Time International, this past Saturday, December 5, 500 families in the Central Florida area were blessed as parents came to pick out toys and wonderful gifts for their children to receive on Christmas morning.

The parents in attendance heard Pastor Benny share the real meaning of Christmas, then he invited them to join him in praying the prayer of salvation. Many were visibly touched!

It was so exciting and joyful to see the families going through the “Christmas Bags of Joy” Toy Store, finding the gifts their kids wished for!

Each family also received a voucher from Pastor Benny and Benny Hinn Ministries for up to $100 worth of goods and essentials (diapers, milk, food, and supplies) from the Harvest Time Community Center.

“This is so wonderful!” exclaimed one volunteer. “It’s really hit me this morning that we are honoring the parents by having them fill up their large, specially-decorated bags with toys and giving them the vouchers for food to take home to give to their children on Christmas. Instead of receiving little or nothing, can you imagine the smiles on the kid’s faces or the pride in the parents’ hearts?”

“I can’t thank you enough for today,” said a single mother of three children, two of whom have special needs. She wept as she explained: “It means so much for me to be able to come to a safe environment to hear Pastor Benny Hinn share about Christmas, then to be treated like a VIP and given these huge bags to fill with toys for my kids. It was going to be a horrible Christmas this year, but now my kids will have gifts and we will have a meal to enjoy together. God has blessed me so much with all that you have done for me and my family today!”

Because of you, there will be Christmas smiles on the faces of so many children and proud parents who share the bounty with which they were blessed!

Opportunities Just Ahead

So much has already happened this year, yet there is so much to be done! Opportunities are opening up everywhere.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and its devastating impact on the U.S. economy, the number of people who are currently not having their basic food needs met has skyrocketed. Today’s statistics are startling:

  • Over 50 million Americans face hunger every day. That’s nearly 15-percent of our nation’s total population.
  • As many as 18 million children—spend all or part of each day hungry. Tragically, this number continues to rise as many students, quarantined at home much of the time with virtual or hybrid education, don’t have access to school meals, often the main source of nutrition.
  • Nearly 60-percent of children from low-income families go hungry, which leads to malnutrition, sickness, susceptibility to disease, learning challenges, and behavior problems.

We have much to do. Though we cannot fix every problem in society, we are bound by Christian love to do all that we can, as often as we can, with every resource we can.

Our next feeding outreach targets one of the hardest-hit areas of the nation in Sanford, Florida. During COVID-19 and economic shut-downs, Sanford has over 22-percent of residents with incomes below the poverty level—that’s more than one out of five residents. This is 36.6-percent worse than the entire state of Florida.

Benny Hinn Ministries, through the arm of Compassion for the Hungry, will be bringing at least 600 boxes of groceries to Sanford’s most needy neighborhoods.

And you can be a crucial part of bringing hope and happiness to these homes! You can bring sunshine into otherwise shadow-filled lives.

A Compassionate Heart and You!

There has never been a better time than now— in this season of COVID-19, political unrest, financial upheaval, and widespread panic—for believers to respond boldly in the name of Jesus Christ. Now, more than ever, God has called us to lead the way in caring for the hurting and needy and touching their hearts with His love.

Compassion for the Hungry is a crucial part of our efforts to take the saving and healing Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are crying out for help!

I need your help now to raise $100,000 during this next week to purchase and distribute food “to the least of these” in places where so many lives have been thrown into chaos through the pandemic and disorder!

This is above our normal operating budget, yet I believe with all my heart that my partners will stand with me as we continue this vital part of ministry.

I know that God promises seven blessings to those who help the poor, needy, and hungry, and I am praying in agreement for these blessings to come upon you and overtake you as you give to meet the needs of others.

Giving, as you make the connection between your need and your seed, puts you in line for God’s covenant blessings of protection, power, peace, and plenty!

As a covenant believer, when you give, you can lay claim to God’s promises:

I will greatly protect you. I will set you in a high place, safe and secure before my face. I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will find and feel my presence, even in your time of pressure and trouble. (Psalm 91:14-15, TPT)

Your donation will be used with urgency, wisdom, and wise stewardship. There’s still plenty of time to get your tax-deductible credit toward charitable giving during 2020, but that time is drawing to a close. Send your year-end gift today, even as you make the divine connection today between your need and your seed and lay claim to the seven covenant blessings of Psalm 41 and protection in Psalm 91. And remember, whatever the need is in your life, the answer is in your seed!

That is my prayer for you as you give toward this exciting, much-needed ministry!

For the glorious and eternal cause of our precious Lord, Jesus Christ,

GIVE TO COMPASSION FOR THE HUNGRY

Updated: November 24, 2020

One of the most uplifting things happening in the world today is God’s people rising up to bring help and hope. Benny Hinn Ministries is working with local organizations and churches in hard-hit regions to coordinate the pickup and distribution of immediate aid packages and prayers for overwhelmed families to help them survive the coming days of restoration.

With your help during November, we’ve been able to deliver 23 semi-truckloads of groceries and much-needed supplies to the DFW area!

Our new Compassion for the Hungry outreach is assisting in bringing food, essential supplies, and the hope of the Gospel to places such as Florida’s overwhelmed older population, California’s ravaged wildfire regions, and most recently through massive feeding programs in Texas, one of the places most impacted by the newest wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ministering Life to the Body and Soul

As a result of partnering with CityServe, Christ for the Nations Institute, Inspired Vision Compassion Center, and other local ministries throughout the Lone Star State, over 750,000 pounds of food and household supplies have been distributed during November in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with additional distribution to other cities throughout Texas.

Through our coordination efforts, over 1,700 families have been blessed with food, fresh produce, dairy, milk and cheese, yogurt, potatoes, beans, and at least 6-7 pounds of meat in each box.

Best of all, numerous salvations and miracles are happening as people come for food, but also receive the transforming hope and power that only our precious Lord Jesus can provide. The tears start to flow as our staffers and co-workers pray with people, asking God to give protection, favor, strength, and courage during the coming days.

I can tell you that all the multitudes of people who have been blessed want to make sure that I pass along their thankfulness for your support. They also implore that we not stop.

The Need Remains Great!

From the first days of this ministry back in 1974, one of my visions has been to reach out to the hungry and hurting. Over the years following that vision, we’ve provided food, clothing, shelter, and medical care for thousands in the United States and abroad.

For over 46 years, Benny Hinn Ministries has formed many strategic partnerships around the globe to move swiftly when disasters strike. Again and again, during terrorist attacks in the United States and abroad, earthquakes in South America, floods in America’s South and Midwest, tsunami-related tragedies throughout the Pacific Rim, and hurricane destruction along the Gulf, my dear partners and I have literally reached out amid chaos and disasters with food, temporary shelter, and hope.

God has continued to stir my heart to coordinate a hands-on outreach to the poor and needy!

The newest arm of Benny Hinn Ministries, Compassion for the Hungry, is now working to establish distribution points for food and supplies, not only at places like the California hotspots, but also soon in such places as Florida and Texas with families hit especially hard with the COVID-19 pandemic.

And what we do, we must respond quickly to meet the needs of so many hurting, needy, displaced people!

Making It Personal

Compassion for the Hungry is a crucial part of our efforts to take the saving and healing Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are crying out for help!

I need your help now to purchase and distribute food and supplies “to the least of these,” especially as so many lives have been thrown into chaos through the pandemic, unrest, and natural disasters!

I am so deeply thankful to our precious partners and volunteers for helping to make this food and supplies distribution possible!

Scripture teaches us:

Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help. Then your salvation will come like the dawn, and your wounds will quickly heal. Your godliness will lead you forward,  and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind. Then when you call, the Lord will answer. “Yes, I am here,” he will quickly reply. (Isaiah 58:7-9, NLT)

That’s the heart of this ministry, and through your prayers, seed-gifts, and encouragement, you are a faithful and important part of everything Benny Hinn Ministries does around the world. Providing relief efforts like this is invaluable in opening doors to spread the life-changing Gospel.

This is a vitally important endeavor because the need is so great and ongoing as we network with others to help distribute food and essential goods to those in desperate need

Make the Divine Connection Between Your Need and Your Seed

Perhaps you have needs yourself. What do you—personally—need from heaven? Think about that for a moment, then take action by making the divine connection between your need and your seed. Know that God Almighty wants to bless you abundantly so you can continue to be a blessing to others!

And as a covenant believer, when you give, you can stand upon God’s iron-clad, covenant promises in Isaiah 58:7-9 and other powerful guarantees such as this:

I will greatly protect you. I will set you in a high place, safe and secure before my face. I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will find and feel my presence, even in your time of pressure and trouble. (Psalm 91:14-15, TPT)

God has shown me what we must do to push forward with these compassionate outreaches and I believe with all my heart that my partners will stand with me as we continue to move into this additional phase of ministry.

There has never been a more urgent or vital time than now for believers to respond boldly in the name of Jesus Christ. Now, more than ever, God has called us to lead the way in caring for the hurting and needy.

Best of all, through Compassion for the Hungry, you and other Benny Hinn Ministry partners are joining me in not just giving food and supplies right now, but you are also feeding souls for all eternity!

For the glorious and eternal cause of our precious Lord, Jesus Christ,

California’s intense wildfires have created a new milestone – the first “gigafire,” a blaze spanning over 4M acres. Five of the six largest fires ever recorded in the state have occurred in 2020, resulting in dozens of deaths and thousands of lost buildings including homes, churches, and businesses.

Over 53,000 California families have been displaced this year, yet after the smoke began to clear and the news crews have left to report on the next disaster, the reality of the sheer devastation began to emerge. The damage became unquestionable as survivors sifted through the ashes for remnants of their past as they began hoping to rebuild for the future.

God’s people are rising to bring help and hope, and Compassion for the Hungry is there, working with CityServe and others to set up relief pick-up locations where overwhelmed families can find immediate aid, food, and personal prayer to bring them the hope of the Gospel and help them survive the coming days of clearing, cleaning, and restoration.

With your help, we’ve been able to deliver truckloads of groceries and much-needed supplies. We are also working with corporate sponsors who have agreed to match the gifts from Benny Hinn Ministries partners, instantly doubling your contribution!

The wildfire survivors deeply appreciate the supply boxes we place in their vehicles, but the tears pour out when we pray over them, asking God to give protection, favor, strength, and courage during the coming days.

One of my visions years ago, was to do something for the hungry. Over the years following that vision, we’ve provided food, clothing, shelter, and medical care for thousands in the United States and abroad.

For 46 years, Benny Hinn Ministries has formed many strategic partnerships around the globe to move quickly when disasters strike. God stirred my heart and spoke to me very clearly two years ago that this hands-on outreach to the poor and needy—from that moment forward—would be a major, vital part of this ministry!

As you know, we partnered with other organizations, unsuccessfully, but each step has revealed the clear mandate that is arm is an exclusive arm of Benny Hinn Ministries and our partners.

Now, this newest arm, Compassion for the Hungry, is working to establish distribution points for food and supplies, not only at places like the California hotspots, but also soon in Florida with families hit especially hard with the COVID-19 pandemic.
