Supernatural Peace is Found in God’s Will

God’s peace always resides where He is. Therefore, when there is no peace, it’s a good possibility that you are heading the wrong way:

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

The late William Barclay, a world-renowned Bible commentator and minister with the Church of Scotland, made the following profound observation regarding God’s peace:

It may be that one of our great faults in prayer is that we talk too much and listen too little. When prayer is at its highest we wait in silence for God’s voice to us; we linger in His presence for His peace and His power to flow over us and around us; we lean back in His everlasting arms and feel the serenity of perfect security in Him.

Deep Calleth unto Deep

a4_99999435To experience a deeper dimension of God's presence, your soul must hunger and thirst for God in the same way a deer pants for the safety and sustenance of water. Only a small percentage of believers ever really experience this kind of intimacy with God because of the price.

Psalm 42:1-2 declares, "As the hart [male red deer] panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?"

In the natural, the panting of the deer is an audible agonizing for the safety the waters provide when pursued by a predator. When the deer runs into the water, the predator can no longer detect its scent. In addition to finding safety from its enemies, the deer finds relief from thirst in the waters.

Faith Acts

I remember a lady who went to Katherine Kuhlman's meetings eleven times before she was healed. Eleven times! I asked one day, "Why did you keep going back?" She said, "Because I knew. I knew my day was coming, and I was going to go back until God healed me. I was not giving up."

The reason many do not get healed is because they give up so quickly. Remember, faith is vital and the prayer of faith is important. You see, faith not only prays, faith acts.

Let me say quickly, that when God heals, He imparts the faith necessary for the healing. He gives us a measure of faith. God imparts faith to those who need a healing through His Spirit. So you don't have to struggle or beg, just receive!

The Bible says, "The prayer of faith will save the sick."
