Angels and Demons

The Nature and Knowledge of Angels

Throughout the Old and New Testaments, the Scriptures help us understand the nature of angels and tell us what angels know and do not know.

Angels are spiritual beings, which allows them to ascend and descend between heaven and earth.

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. (Genesis 28:12) And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. (John 1:51)

ANGELS ARE INTELLIGENT AND THEY KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING ON EARTH.

To fetch about this form of speech hath thy servant Joab done this thing: and my lord is wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all things that are in the earth. (2 Samuel 14:20)

Protection through the Blood

a4_99999538Hyssop is a plant that is still grown throughout the Middle East today and is symbolic of faith and purity in the Word of God.

David prayed to God, "Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow" (Psalm 51:7).

The children of Israel were commanded to take a branch of hyssop, and by faith, to apply the blood on the lintel and two side posts of their houses.

And so today our protection as believers is found only under the blood, through faith, for only under the precious blood of Christ Jesus are we free and safe from the enemy.

Hebrews 9:14-15 declares that because of the blood and the work of the Cross, we who are called will receive the promise of eternal inheritance, which includes our protection.

Why then are so many dear believers still worry and fret about their lives?

Claim all that Calvary affords today

a4_99999876You have been redeemed from all iniquity. No sin can dominate your life because you are purchased. As Christians, we are set apart as a peculiar people, zealous of good works:

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Titus 2:13-14)

And so God has taken you out of the hand of the enemy: "And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible" (Jeremiah 15:21).
