Todd Coontz says that everything in our life is a seed!
When we are good to our loved ones, that is a seed. When we spend time with our children, that’s a seed. Whenever we go to work, that is sowing a seed of time and energy. And at the end of the week we reap a paycheck—a harvest.
Our words are seed. Thoughts are seed. Kindnesses are seed.
Just smiling at people is a seed, and almost always there is an immediate harvest as the recipient smiles back.
The Power of Seed-Faith
Sometimes we make the concept of seed-faith complicated and unreachable, but we need to realize that seed faith is part of everything we do.
The Bible is clear: “Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7).
We definitely reap what we sow.
So what is seed faith?
It means recognizing that something you currently possess can be planted toward a harvest.
God had a Son but wanted a family, so He planted His very best seed at Calvary and created His family.
A young man and wife want a family, so the man’s seed is planted in the woman and they begin creating their family.
Business owners all around the world take their money and invest it into TV commercials, billboards, and print ads in hopes of reaping a harvest of sales.
The message of seed faith literally operates every success principle on the earth.
Three Key Ingredients of the Seed-Faith Lifestyle
Something dynamic is happening right now throughout the body of Christ. A special anointing is about to fall upon God’s family.
Why?
Jesus gives us the reason for this anointing in His Word: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19).
A powerful anointing for finances is coming during the last days so that we can truly fulfill the Great Commission.
Jesus Christ died so we can drive back the forces of darkness, sharing the Gospel with lost souls.
It’s all tied back to the earliest mention of seed-faith giving: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22).
As long as the earth remains, there will be seed time and harvest time. So it is important, especially as we seek to take the Gospel to the world while there is still time, to move into a life of seed-faith giving and harvest.
It is interesting that Todd Coontz, pointing to this biblical principle on This Is Your Day, urges people to do three things:
Turnaround Faith
“Right now,” Todd Coontz says on This Is Your Day, “there is an anointing for people who need a major turnaround. It’s time to plant a turnaround seed, and that seed will become the divine magnet to bring change.”
Dr. Coontz quotes this verse, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19).
Then Todd adds, “This is a divine moment! God has anointed this time for a special turnaround.”
My spirit quickly confirms what my friend is saying.
Right now, many people need a turnaround in their businesses, in their families, in their personal finances, in their relationships.
God wants to give you a turnaround in your life!
He wants to show you a business idea, a concept, an opportunity that will change everything in your life.
He wants to give you favor with others that will turn everything around for you.
But God always requires that you plant a seed before you see the harvest.
What kind of turnaround seed can you sow toward your turnaround harvest?
Turnaround Faith
The Word of God assures us that “the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just” (Proverbs 13:22), and “in the house of the righteous is much treasure” (Proverbs 15:6). And we can find joy in this promise: “I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten” (Joel 2:25).
So today, sow your seed in faith and believe the Lord to take care of you. As a covenant person, you are a giver. Only covenant people give! Those who do not give are not in covenant. It is because of the covenant that you become a giver.
I will agree with you in prayer as we ask God to unleash this turnaround anointing on you for the next 12 months, a powerful anointing even in the midst of crisis.
I encourage you to step out in faith by planting your most generous turnaround seed—$100 or $1000 or whatever God directs you to sow!
As you step out in faith, I will join intercessors around the world, praying for you to have your turnaround in the next 12 months.
Remember that God gives seed to the sower. Release the seed from your hand, and He will give you more seed to sow and multiply the sown seed. Sow today and activate the law of the supernatural harvest that is coming your way! Sow your seed with mighty expectation for today and the future!
When you plant your seed, I will send you a copy of The Miracle of Seed Faith, a book by Todd Coontz with Dr. Oral Roberts. It includes 31 life-changing principles of seed faith and can help you fuel your turnaround!
Sow your seed with mighty expectation for today and the future, for our Lord Jesus promises, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38).
For we know it is “not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6). . .
