Your Unusual Seed—God’s Powerful Promises

Pastor BennyI have received such wonderful responses to the two recent “seed” teachings that I sent, so I want to continue with the exciting news about what can happen when you discover the power of your unusual seed.

The Word of God tells us that the God we serve is moved when He sees His children do the extraordinary in faith. In fact, the Bible is filled with accounts of men and women whose unique actions truly moved the hand of God.

Take Noah, for example, who lived on the earth at a time when there was no rain. Since the day God created the earth, it had not rained, nor had there been any floods. Yet the time came when God came to Noah, telling him that it was going to rain and that He was going to destroy the wicked with a flood. Noah, at that moment, did the unusual. In obedience to God, he and his sons began building the ark, even as the wicked mocked and ridiculed them. The usual would have been to ignore God’s command, since rain had not been seen since creation. But Noah did the unusual and, as a result, brought salvation to his household.

David is another example. When facing Goliath, he did the unusual (1 Samuel 17). The army of Israel had been defied by the giant. Thousands of men stood in fear of Goliath. None knew what to do. That is the usual response. But David came, obeying the Lord, never doubting for one moment that God would give him the victory. He defeated Goliath because he was willing to do the unusual.

Or how about Mary, the mother of our Lord? She was told by the angel Gabriel that she would become the mother of the Son of God (Luke 19:28-44). The usual would have been not to believe. The usual would have been to worry about what Joseph would think. What would the neighbors think? What would they do to her? By law, they would have had to stone her. But she did the unusual. She believed God.

Or what about the apostles who did the unusual in disobeying the rulers of Israel?  After the Day of Pentecost, as they began preaching the Gospel, they were commanded by the authorities not to preach in the name of Jesus (Acts 4). Preaching in His name would have meant prison, would have meant persecution and maybe even death. But the apostles did the unusual and obeyed God instead.

It is time that you and I begin to do the unusual for our glorious Lord and King, for He does not respond to the usual. He only responds to the unusual.

The widow of Zarephath (as recorded in 1 Kings 17), stepped out in faith and gave Elijah her last meal. She did the unusual and was sustained.

It is time we step out and do the unusual with our giving, for unusual days are here. God is looking for a people who will do the unique with Him and for Him.

I am asking you today to sow an unusual seed, believing God for an unusual harvest. As you do this, I believe you will see extraordinary miracles come your way.

The days ahead are dark for the world and bright for you!

As you serve our wonderful Lord Jesus, by doing what He asks of you, no evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your dwelling.

Plant your seed-gift into the fertile soil of this ministry, knowing our Lord’s clear-cut instructions: “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38).

Sowing and reaping works! Unusual faith moves the hand of God!

Plant your most generous financial seed today, expecting a powerful financial harvest in your life, even as you give toward the spread of the Gospel around the world.

God is moving mightily here in South Africa, where there has been such expectation and excitement in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Phoenix, and East London. And in upcoming weeks and months, I will be traveling to Florida, Trinidad and Tobago, Kentucky, Washington, D.C., California, Ukraine, Belgium, Netherlands, France, New York, Indonesia, Uganda, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and more.

Each of the remaining 2013 crusades requires a massive financial commitment right now as we sow heavily into the harvest of souls, and I ask you to prayerfully consider being part of it!

Pray that the mighty anointing that has swept through recent services will continue to save to the uttermost and heal all who come to our Lord Jesus in need.

Also, be sure to be part of our upcoming Day of Prayer. God is ready to do the unusual in your life! Write your most urgent needs and challenges, then we will be lifting up those requests during our Good Friday Communion and Healing Service in Orlando on March 29. Suzanne and I will be joining with believers—both during the historic service at the Holy Land Experience church and our Mighty Warriors Prayer Army all around the globe—to pray specifically for any need you may have, especially for restoration of your marriage and family. We want you to be part of what God is doing!

May God bless you abundantly for all you are doing for Him!

For souls,

Benny Hinn
