2012—The Year of Answered Prayer

Pastor Benny Hinn What great and mighty things does God want to show you in 2012? Among them are His joy, His freedom, His liberty, His deliverance, and His glory!

But what will it take to move into those "great and mighty things”? It will take all of your heart. Scripture teaches us, “Ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).

I know, without a doubt, that 2012 is the year of answered prayer! But we must seek Him and call unto Him.

A New Season of Miracle Crusades
As we step into the second month of this fresh New Year, so much is happening in our world. We see turmoil in the financial and political markets. The global economy is hanging on by a thread and a presidential election is just nine months away.

Yes, major changes and decisions are on the horizon, and that is why I believe God has told me to step out in the midst of all that is happening and start our Miracle Crusades again.

But I dare not and I will not start them without getting on my knees first. Without a fresh touch of God's anointing and a word of deliverance and hope on my lips, I dare not go to Paris this weekend (February 12–13), then to London (February 18–19), Miami (February 23–24), Orlando (February 25), and around the world during the remainder of 2012. I dare not!

These crusades must be bathed with prayer, so you and I must prepare the way and plow the ground with prayer. For then and only then will the power of God fall.

Your Year of Answered Prayer
But this message is as much for you as it is for me. This is your year — yours and mine — of answered prayer; and as you step out in faith, I am asking you to be part of all that God is doing through this ministry. In 2012 I challenge you, straight from heaven, to do what God has called you to do. Only you can do it. Don't let anybody slow you down.

Now, my friend and partner, as we step out in faith during this season of answered prayer, it is imperative that we not neglect our giving. Giving to God keeps us focused on His work, and it clarifies our priorities and heart's desire.

You see, giving is not about money. It's about righteousness. And giving is a reflection of what's in your heart. Giving declares a person's righteous standing before God, for righteousness and giving go hand in hand. Giving is voting for the kingdom, for our precious Jesus and for His work. God uses your giving as a weapon in His hands.

Read Psalm 112 and see how it speaks of the righteous giver. It says, “His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed” (verses 2-3). Givers receive ideas from heaven, and God wants to prosper those ideas.

As we move into this anointed season of answered prayer, what has God put into your hand? Whatever it is, you can be certain that God has provided you with a special seed for this special harvest, for He gives seed to the sower: “Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness” (2 Corinthians 9:10).

Now it is up to you and me to plant the seed He has provided during the harvest of finances, which will lead to the harvest of miracles, then to the harvest of souls. What a wonderful, eternal opportunity we have before us!

God is in the “seed-giving business.” He provides the seed to the sower!

Your Year of Plenty
God is ready to provide an abundant, supernatural harvest! So plant your most generous seed-gift for the work of the Lord so you will move into a season of harvest. Sowing always precedes reaping, and seedtime always precedes harvest.

And the seed you sow in faith into the good soil of this ministry will produce a harvest of abundance and blessing in your life.

Your harvest will be in direct proportion to what you plant!

Assigning your seed to a specific need is vital. Sowing and reaping is a fixed law that God has put into effect on this planet, and it will work for anyone! Ask any farmer or gardener anywhere in the world, and he will tell you, “Every time I sow seed in the ground, I expect a specific harvest where I plant the seed.”

A sower plants seed as a lifestyle, continually looking for ways to sow. Sowing is his number-one priority, and sowing consumes so much of his time and attention that he doesn't even take time to look for the harvest. The harvest will come because the seed has been sown!

So if you need a financial miracle today, everything you need is hidden in your seed! Your seed has the power to produce an abundant harvest.

This is a divine season for answered prayer! God has anointed this time. Right now, many people need a turnaround in their businesses, in their families, in their personal finances, in their relationships.

Perhaps He wants to show you a business idea, a concept, an opportunity that will change everything in your life. He can give you favor with others that will turn everything around for you. But God always requires that you plant a seed before you see the harvest.
The key is in the seed! Everything you need is hidden in your seed!

I encourage you to plant your most generous step-of-faith seed — $100 or $1,000 or whatever God directs! I also ask you to become one of my special 12,000 partners who commit to plant seed each month in 2012.

Remember, God gives seed to the sower. Whatever He has placed in your hand, as you release it from your hand as seed, He will give you more to sow and multiply it. So activate the law of the supernatural harvest that is coming your way!

Sow with mighty expectation for today and the future, for 2012 can truly be your year of answered prayer!

For we know it is “not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6)…
