Mighty Miracles Sweep Through Enthusiastic Indonesia Crowds

For the third time in the history of his ministry, Pastor Benny Hinn returned to Indonesia to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world’s fourth-most populous country, and the world’s largest Muslim population.

After his very first services in Indonesia, held in 2006 at the personal invitation of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Pastor Benny began plans to return. That return came in November 2009, when Pastor Benny was welcomed again by an overcapacity crowd.

Both of these huge gatherings led to the most recent Miracle Crusade in Indonesia, held at Jakarta’s Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno on June 18–19, 2010!

Jesus Healed All
In each service of the recent crusade, Pastor Benny moved quickly into his message as the crowds listened intently. He shared a number of scriptures where Jesus healed all. Speaking through an interpreter, he shared his desire to tell these people about God’s love for them. He preached a message of healing and salvation, citing many examples of incredible miracles.

“Jesus Christ went about healing all and preaching the message of salvation,” he said. “If Jesus could heal a leper, a paralytic, a cripple, and even a person with a fever, He can heal you tonight!”

Pastor Benny spoke of the need to believe that the time has come when we must believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever and that He is the Healer.

He looked out over the audience and asked, “Why is it that we believe sickness is normal? Sickness is not normal. People ask, ‘Is healing God’s will?’ Sickness is not the will of God. Look at Jesus Christ. He healed them all. Everything Jesus did is the will of God. If Jesus healed, it’s the will of God. If Jesus forgave, it’s the will of God. If Jesus delivered, it’s the will of God. Healing belongs to everybody!”

Determined to Be Healed
During the first service an especially touching miracle testimony set the stage for the entire crusade. Two ladies and a gentleman traveled nearly 2,900 miles (4,654 kilometers) from Mumbai, India, to attend this Miracle Crusade in Jakarta. One of those ladies came forward to testify of God’s healing touch on her body. She said that she had tried to attend Pastor Benny’s crusade in Mumbai but had been unable to get in because of the massive crowds that numbered in the millions.

Determined to be healed, she and her family traveled from India to Jakarta to receive a miracle. During the service, God’s healing power touched her body, and she came forward to testify about what had happened.

As Pastor Benny talked with the woman and her two companions, he asked them if they were Christians. When they said no, he asked them if they wanted to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. They responded affirmatively, and Pastor Benny invited them to pray the prayer for salvation with him.

It seemed as if the entire Jakarta audience held their collective breath as Pastor Benny knelt. The three people from India did likewise, kneeling beside him and folding their hands respectfully.

Pastor Benny led them in a prayer of repentance, one sentence at a time. Each time he paused, their voices could be heard throughout the stadium, speaking each word of the prayer with deep emotion.

As Pastor Benny concluded the prayer, the three travelers from India stood up and began to embrace Pastor Benny, expressing their gratitude to God for the greatest miracle of all—salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ.

The audience burst into applause, praising the Lord for what they had just witnessed!

Miracle Highlights
During each of the services, Pastor Benny spoke openly of the greatest miracle of all, and then he invited all who wanted to give their lives to Jesus Christ to pray with him. As he issued this invitation, hands went up throughout the audience and people throughout the crowd responded.

Also during each service, Pastor Benny talked about God’s desire to heal. He named miracle after miracle throughout the Bible—Jairus’s daughter, the woman with the issue of blood, and so many more.

Then he quoted scripture: “When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick” (Matthew 8:16).

Next he gave the account of Jesus and the leper: “When Jesus came down the hill, the leper came running toward Him and asked Jesus to heal him. Jesus heals all and misses none. He denied no one, not even Gentiles. The next morning Jesus healed the crowd, then He taught them.”

As Pastor Benny spoke to the crowd gathered in the Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno he said, “Jesus Christ healed everyone all the time. And ladies and gentlemen, He is going to do it in Indonesia!”

In each service, the audience lifted heartfelt praise as a mighty wave of miracles began moving throughout the rapt audience. People of all ages began moving forward to share testimonies of healing, though time limitations only allowed a few:

• A young girl became very ill during one of the services and emergency medical care was called. As her mother and sister joined with other believers gathered around, life returned to her body and the young girl was healed. Soon afterward, she stood at the side of the platform weeping and worshiping the Lord as she waited to share what God had done for her. Onstage, she described what had happened to her earlier in the service. Her mother wept tears of joy and gratitude for the miracle that had taken place in her daughter’s body.
  
  
• A young woman was set free from demon activity and healed of a physical problem by God’s healing power!
  
  
• A mother and father brought their infant son to the platform to testify of God’s healing touch on his body, describing in detail the problems he had previously faced.
  
  
• Many forms of cancer were healed.
  
  
• Numerous wheelchairs were emptied as crippled people of all ages were able to walk, some for the first time in years!
  
  
• Numerous cases of painful arthritis were healed dramatically.
  
  
• Blind eyes were opened.
  
  
• The deaf began hearing!
  

There were many healing testimonies by those who had experienced God’s healing touch for the first time in their lives. They wept and rejoiced as they shared with the ministry team their joy and gratitude for what God had done for them. Time did not permit each one to come to the platform and testify of God’s healing touch.
