Powerful Anointing Marks Chicago Miracle Crusade

Multitudes poured into Chicago’s famed Sears Centre Arena on June 10–11, 2010. People of all ages came from throughout the Midwest, Canada, and the Northeast to witness God’s miracle-working power unleashed during the three services.

Dynamic music by the contemporary Benny Hinn Voices and Orchestra filled the vast auditorium. And amid fresh, new worship and intercession was a mighty anointing for changed hearts and healed lives!

Early in both Thursday and Friday evening services, Pastor Benny Hinn presented the plan of salvation, giving a Scripture-filled message that included “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

After sharing several other scriptures, he invited all who wanted to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ to come forward. People streamed to the altar from throughout the arena.

When all had gathered at the front, Pastor Benny led them in a prayer of repentance for salvation. As they finished, Pastor Benny asked them to turn to someone and tell them, “I’ve just been saved!” As they began to greet one another, many wept tears of joy and embraced as they testified to one another of their salvation.

Mighty Anointing for Miracles
In addition to what Pastor Benny calls “the greatest miracle—salvation,” there was a powerful outpouring for miracles in each of the evening services.

“I want to show you a day in the life of Jesus,” Pastor Benny said. “Let’s look at 24 hours of miracles!”

Pastor Benny taught, “Our Lord preached a marvelous message. Jesus went up the mountain and great multitudes followed Him from Galilee and from Decapolis, from Jerusalem; from Judea, and from beyond Jordan.”

The miraculous continued as Jesus went down the mountain and healed the leper. Then while crossing over the sea, He spoke and calmed the storm.

After that, He set the demoniac free, then healed a man who was lowered through the roof of a crowded house.

While Jesus was still in the house, a man named Jairus came rushing through the door begging the Master to come heal his daughter who was near death.

On the way to minister at the home of Jairus, a woman with an issue of blood made her way through the crowd, reached out to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, and was healed.

Finally, at Jairus’s home, Jesus raised the man’s daughter from the dead! Then, as He left that house, more came in need of healing, “When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick” (Matthew 8:16).

Miracle Highlights
A strong anointing for miracles swept through the Sears Centre Arena. Pastor Benny began calling people out of the crowd and told them their physical problems before praying for them for healing.

Miracle highlights included these:

• A woman suffering from multiple sclerosis came to the platform with her daughter to testify of God’s healing touch. The mother hadn’t walked on her own for some time, but after God’s healing power touched her body during the service, she began to walk and run back and forth across the platform with Pastor Benny. Her daughter wept as she watched her mother walk. As Pastor Benny paused near her daughter, he began to speak a word of knowledge to her: “What’s wrong with your shoulder? I see something around this shoulder.” The daughter responded, telling Pastor Benny that she had pain and no cartilage in her shoulder. Pastor Benny prayed for the young woman, and all the pain left. She could move her arm and her shoulder freely.
  
  
• A woman with fibromyalgia came to the platform to testify of God’s healing touch. She was strong and pain free. She could walk on her own strength.
  
  
• One woman came to testify of being freed from severe arthritic pain. She no longer had any pain.
  
  
• At one point in the service, Pastor Benny pointed to a pastor seated on the platform and said God was healing him of arthritis. The man came forward at Pastor’s request. He told Pastor Benny that he had arthritis in his right hand. Pastor Benny prayed for his hand, and the man began to move his hand freely, with no pain. The man was amazed at the instantaneous touch of God’s healing power on his hand!
  
  
• A young man came to the platform to testify of an unfolding miracle. He shared how he had been shot in his leg, revealing a long scar on his leg from the surgery that followed the shooting. While hospitalized, he had turned the television on to hear the words, “This is your day for a miracle!” He said Pastor Benny had called out a word of knowledge about a young man who was hospitalized as a result of a gunshot wound. He shared that Pastor Benny had said that God was going to heal him. The miracle began through the TV program, and during the service, all the pain around the surgery site vanished, and the man was pain free.
  
  
• A young father and his wife came to the platform with their two-year-old daughter. The father was carrying the little girl, and his face was shining from tears. He told about his little girl’s rare condition that had caused serious liver damage. She was on a liver-transplant waiting list because of the severe damage. The rare disease had caused other complications, including the loss of her hearing. During the miracle service, the father called out his little girl’s name, and she responded because she could suddenly hear! As Pastor Benny spoke to them, the father whispered to her, “I love you.” The little girl smiled at him and said in a voice loud enough for Pastor Benny to hear: “I love you.” “Did you hear that?” Pastor Benny asked with excitement. “She told her daddy she loves him!” The audience roared with praise to God for the mighty miracle they had just witnessed!
  
  
• There were many healings from arthritis.
  
  
• At the end of each healing service, there were many empty wheelchairs as a glistening testimony to God’s healing power.
  

During this historic Miracle Crusade in Chicago, there were so many miracles and testimonies of healing that all who received them were unable to come to the platform because of time.
